SC Exhaust Thread
It not only fits nicely in terms of mounting, but it also fits the appearance of the car very well.

Thanks...
Thats my only concern though; the exhaust looks (and sounds) awesome, but I plan on coilovers in the near future, and I don't want my exhaust to scrape the ground, as a result of the drop.
Does that happen?

what would be better for an axle back, a standard muffler or a glass pack muffler?
for reference looking at these, just kind of tired of not being able to hear my exhaust at all.

^ I say straight glasspack.
I've had one of those cigar shaped mufflers (on a Jeep Wrangler), it was nice, and occupied less space in the undercarriage, seeing as it fit right in line with the piping. Sound wasn't bad at all.

I'm going to try the mufflers, from what I read the glass packs don't last as long (not that it really matters) and their sound will change over time.
I went a bit different with my setup. Old school, St May Shotgun Mufflers (21" long jasma approved) From a FD Rx7. They come welded together with full piping and hangers, I had them separated and made into the setup you see. Full 2.5" stainless with xpipe from the stock manifolds back. no resonators or cats.

How it sounds, pay no attention to the sticky needle!

[QUOTE=ubercooper;7299791]stock piping, different muffs...
$50 total in parts and mats... gotta save every penny for my 928 racer and KTM
Where did you put these? Are the rear mufflers the stock ones? Or did you put these where the resonators where?

1998 SC400 , I see alot of set ups for 92-96 but what about 1998 +??
I am looking for performance only if i had my wish i would keep it quiet not big on loud exhaust .
What is a good set up for the 1998 SC400 ?
1. Keep it legal with cats set up ?
2. Not legal set up ?
