Thinking about getting Tanabe or Megan axle backs and getting some custome piping made with deleted resonator, anyone got some Feedback on any of those brands ?

Fujitsubo, nice and sexy. Doesn't sound like crap, no drone, nice and smooth sounding. Also perfect fitment, high quality.

Default resonator delete

Here is my 96 SC400. I just got it done the other day and recorded it on my phone so its not the best quality, but you can still hear it at least. I wanted to keep everything looking stock, thus the reason why i didn't delete (remove) the mufflers.

fujitsubo exhaust, order for a mk4, had it custom installed had to make a mid pipe for it.

as for sound. im not to happy. it is loud compared to how i wanted it. it sounds good, and on the highway it is very very quite , but city driving its a tad loud and when your on it, its lound. but it has a good sound. i will be changing axle backs soon

apexi GT spec system with resonator removed and boost logic 4" muffler. 3" DP no cats.

my friend was moving my car into my garage. apparently he can't drive a grippy clutch very well and the crunch at the end is my front bumper hitting the ledge in the garage...

my car is rather loud. but thats how i wanted it. I'm a ricer... what can i say

This is kind of an opinionated question but:

What are peoples favorite setups as far as custom exhausts for a 1JZ? Im running a single OBX 3" piping to 4" outlet, it sounds amazing but, with the shine auto kit I think my car deserves a dual exhaust look. I read through this whole thread and Im still iffy on what I really want to do. Im looking forward to hearing your ideas fellow sc owners

Heres what my current setup sounds like (and I absolutely love it) but the dual looks so much cleaner (IMO)

Sounds REALLY good -sick take off
if your going for performace then keep the single, BUT, if you want that ill/classy look then go dual. At first I was going to go single, but after seeing 2 SC's side by side (one had single, the other had dual) the dual looked WAYYYYYYY better in my opinion. I say go dual.. Im assuming ur SC wont go slower adding the extra weight.

Nah it won't make it slower lol! My tuner also said the flow should be roughly the same so it will honestly be more of cosmetics and sounds then anything.

I have the same system, and even with my 6265, 4" downpipe and midpipe without a cat it is smooth and quiet!
