The mufflers are straight thru, but the sound is amazing on the V8 with no drone at all, barely even hear it inside, silent at highway speeds. These are on an otherwise completely stock exhaust and car. Perfect sound for a car of the SC's caliber, refined, yet powerful.

I had the Top Speed mufflers with the stock Y-pipe but with the resonators deleted, it sounds pretty good but it drones on the highways.

EDIT: here's how they look on the car: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/7391925-post57.html

I could hear the exhaust rumble at idle from inside the house with all the doors closed leading to the garage... on the freeway/highway the rumble fills the cabin if you don't have your music playing. It may sound "cool" from the outside, but on longer drives (as in anything over 30 minutes) it does get irritating - which is why I swapped it out for a full-catback Fujitsubo system instead. the FJ is nice and quiet during idle and daily, with a small hint of aftermarket sound to it; but when you open up the throttle you get the growl =)

Does anyone have experience with the 'OBX SUS304 exhaust headers for the 4.0 / 4.3 liter Lexus V8? I'm considering a set for my 1994 SC400 & was wondering if I'd have fitment problems. I don't mind needing to revise the exhaust system, I'm mainly concerned about whether or not the headers will fit in the engine compartment, especially if they'll clear the steering shaft. Any thoughts?

Anyone heard of JDM Dragon II Catback? I just bought my SC300 last weekend and that's what it has. Not sure what mufflers. Sounds very decent. I'll post pics once I get some. I can't find jack crap on Dragon II Catbacks.

Most likely engine/tranny mount. Next time ask this in a separate thread, this has nothing to do with exhaust.
