I know this is an old thread but do you kniw if that guy is still working on exhaust? I have talked to a boat load of shops in ausAus and none of them even want to touch my GS and I'm about to get a 96 SC400 and I'm hoping to find someone that does a good job and knows these older Lexus beauties.

Does anyone know of a bolt-on dual exhaust? This seems to be the only one i can find that's not $2500.00.

https://www.circuitwerksusa.com/product/product-9/

Any input?

For what it's worth there is the Manzo / M2 bolt-on axle-back dual exhaust. However they may be on backorder direct from the company right now since international shipping slowdowns have affected some of their inventory. I spoke with them a couple of weeks ago about getting some replacement gaskets for mine (and I was told that any exhaust shop can supply new gaskets as they are a standard size). The Manzo tech on the phone did say the SC300/400 dual exhaust kit was on a delay or backorder though, so it should still be in production... just requiring some wait time to get if no place has existing stock in their inventory within the USA at current time.

I recall I paid anywhere between $250-$300 + shipping or so for mine but this was in 2011.

Single is simpler, lighter, and honestly seems to sound cleaner/more rumbly on the 2jz cars. IMO it's all about looks - I prefer the single exit and filled the other side in with a tow hook. The only downside is there are no easy bolt on options to fill the second exhaust hole in the bumper... As for sound - Vibrant street powers are terrific mufflers for the cost. I'd highly recommend a good resonator and a good FULL muffler (not a straight through) if you're looking for something reasonably quiet. Also, if going turbo, be sure to re-circulate your wastegate downtube into the downpipe. Those things are LOUD with an open dump when the wastegate opens up.

Default Top Speed Pro 1 Axleback Owners Review

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to see if there are any long term owners that can talk to the Top Speed Axleback (on a SC300)?

I have read a few posts about these mufflers and most seem positive, however looking at feedback on other forums for different makes (e.g. Nissan) it seems like some people had issues with rust after a short ownership period. To be fair some of those posts were 5-10 years ago, hence this post to see what latest feedback was.

Questions:
1. How have the mufflers held up over time (hangers and overall surface - e.g. any rust?
2. Sound - did they develop much drone over time. Yes - conscious this is subjective - I'm after a deep tone but not something that is unbearable or attracts police.
I'm in Australia so postage is pretty expensive, so wanted to see if any comments before I commit or decide to just save money for a custom local exhaust.

Thanks for reading!
