I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust a bit. I want to know what would be a good one to upgrade to if I'm not looking for it to make a lot of noise. Some noise is cool, but i don't want it to be excessive

Heres my setup on my sc400, got it done about 2 months ago:
2.5" pipe back from top cats
into an x pipe
into a modified greddy / trust MX cat-back for an sc300

sounds pretty awesome. not too loud at lower rpms, but really opens up when you get on it!

here's mine, came with the car when i got it, its a tanabe axle back, hoping to delete cats soon to make it louder, pretty rumble for now, barely noticeable from cabin if the windows are closed.

Just installed the top speed pro1 axle backs and I have to say for whats its worth I am impressed. This is perfect for the person not looking to make a lot of noise but enough to notice a difference

I'll post a video of mine in a couple of hours. Don't know how old the exhaust is, but it's a cats-back true dual custom job. Only downside is it leaks, and, well, it's very loud....I won't rev it up because it's in a quiet neighborhood.

Edit: Video doesn't want to upload. I'll figure it out.

Here is mine....Tanabe Medalion Touring...I love the sound...not too crazy!!

I had an HKS Super Dragger on my old IS300 but I was a lot younger then...and I currently have a Greddy Evo 2 on my 1999 Prelude which is much louder than my Tanabe.

If you just want louder but keep the smooth tone delete the resonators. Deleting the cats will make it crackle and pop.

TopSpeed Pro-1's on my 300. I like them but i get horribly disappointed with them when i'm surrounded by louder cars. My car might as well be stock.

3 inch downpipe to 4 inch straight pipe out to dual 4 inch pipes. its not to loud really quiet, no drone, probably quieter than stock, also have a 2 inch screamer pipe dumping out my passenger fender very nice on the ears if you are within 20ft of the side of my car.... will go 4 inch down pipe once i upgrade to the 70mm turbo club and yes those tires are really wide

Does anybody have any experience with this? I need the cat because it shredded to pieces and 3 gaskets due to possible exhaust leak. 2 go between the manifold to the first cat, and the 1 from the first cat to the second cat. I'm also guessing this one sounds better than factory. So knocking out 3 birds with 1 stone.

I really want to try this one out but it doesn't say direct fit. And from the look of the back, it looks like I'd need to fabricate a small y pipe. Not really sure but don't want to spend that much money on this one piece just to find out I need to fabricate more of my exhaust system.

Just So You Know Andys Buys Parts From The Manufacturer That Doesn't Pass The Manufacturers Final Quality Inspection. So It Will Most Likely Need Some Sort Of Fabrication To Work. I Would Suggest Just Purchasing A Universal Cat And Have It Installed By A Shop, It Will Be Cheaper And Easier In The Long Run.
