yeah but are you in a huge rush to get rid of your 2020 one?
if not just wait it out a bit and let them settle the issues first. I drove that new NX, the infotainment (same as the soon to be here 5th gen RX) is a turd.
- Due to it being a touch screen, they had to push this giant piano black slab right into the drivers face. With that, there was some odd placements of buttons and switches - Start engine button is now all the way to the top of the console. Why its up there, i havent a clue - The rotary volume *** is so small and cheap feeling that you dont even want to touch it. Plus due to its placement, you'll likely hit 3-4 other touch screen climate items before you are succesful in rotating the volume ***. In the NX's case, its right next to where the fan speed controller is. - The menus are dull and uninspired looking while accessing the user interface. You cant even have a nav / radio split like our old interfaces. Only 1 screen at at time - the sport mode selector is literally where the volume *** should be. Its also the size of what the normal volume *** should be.
Either way, i dont like it. Ill take my dumb joystick over this ugly mess. Without apple carplay, or android auto, this new internal lexus user interface is garbage. ohh and dont get me started on these "multi functional" steering wheel buttons. They are slow and unresponsive. Try pressing next track will often require 2 presses before it responds. But sometimes its only 1 press. Plus you cant see what multi function your selecting unless you look into the HUD. Dont like the HUD? too bad, a lot of vital functions are now only HUD controlled.
this stupid interface is worse than iDrive version 1.0.
I don’t think I’d get into paying more than MSRP. I suspect the manufacturer will raise prices to market levels at some point, though. Or supply will return and prices will adjust, whatever that means.
Projections according to the talking tv heads say that there will be an overstock of vehicles next year. This should normalize prices and the used car prices will drop.
We'll see....

I suspect this is already starting as demand for gasoline appears to be down, so the prices are dropping. There were no vehicles to buy recently near me, and now almost all the dealers at least have some product to sell or at least test drive.
If we get a 100 basis points increase here as it predicted, things could be changing sooner than anyone expected.
Daryl why would you buy the first year production ? look at our 4th gen RX. The 2016 ones had the most problem albeit still not completely egregious but still. Personally i think its a lot of money to throw into a brand new platform with a potential to have a lot of bugs popping up. At least give them a year or two to clean it up.
yeah, that’s partially why I bought a ‘22 RX. Also because I prefer hard buttons and I find the interior of the outgoing model to be more luxurious.
Why are you guys rushing to be the first to get this vehicle especially when you already own a beautiful and reliable vehicle now especially knowing that these ridiculous market adjustment fees will be attached

Human nature to desire the latest and greatest but my case, we bought our 17 RX more than five years ago. Long time for us as far as car ownership goes but zero chance I'll ever pay MSRP let alone any premium over that.
