That is a shame. I think the analog clock is the best feature of the Lexus interior.
That is really unfortunate.

 

I had some um, younger generation folks in my 4RX recently, and they had no idea how to read the analog clock.

I think the 2nd gen NX is the first to do away with the signature clock? The upcoming RZ450e also doesn't have an analog clock anymore.

 

Is an analog clock in a Lexus really a ‘signature’ thing? I know it is/was in an Infiniti, but my ‘04 RX has no analog clock, so it was no surprise to me that my ‘22 NX didn’t have one either.

 

Not a signature but since 2013 model year GS started the trend of analog clock, everything model got it until the 2022 NX and it seems the 23 RX will not have it either.
It’s one of the most elegant feature in a Lexus interior. I love it.

 

To each their own. I think I’ve actually looked at it once in almost 4 years! To me it’s a waste of space that could have been allocated to something else a little more useful.

 

how do you tell time when you’re in the car if you’ve only looked at it once?

 

We also have a digital clock. Have you not found it yet?

 

No. because the analog is my go to. But since you’ve mentioned it, I found where it is but nobody else would be able to see that.

LOL. I realize it’s old school but I have this thing called a watch that I wear on my wrist. Really, I use the digital readout and don’t care it anyone else can see it

 

The Ugly Duckling? 2023 RX500h F Sport. All 2023 RX come with 4 cylinder engine, gas only or gas/hybrid. Some models are turbocharged, some with CVT transmission, others with 6 speed speed automatic transmission.

My Grandson commented just the other day how he loved the analog clock, especially lit at nite ,2022 RX

 

No screen on my 2003 GS but it is still running strong at 226K miles. I'll trade the screen for longevity.
