If you get more than 15% you are golden and if you are getting less, you would need to decide if the options and color combo are worth the discount you may be able to get at different dealer.

MSRP $53,5XX
Negotiated price: $47,XXX
Price after $2k Lexus rebate: $45,XXX
Final OTD price with all taxes/fees: $50,000

And don't forget the 2020 RX refresh is dropping in about 2-3 months from now so the dealers may be itching to get rid of the non refreshed models between now and then.
Did they let you do the 2k lexus cash and 2.9 APR combined? In California dealerships we're only offering one or the other. And if you're financing it's better to go the 2.9 apr route as later on you will save more than 2k on the car.

I am in California and they allowed one or the other. I did not finance this purchase so the $2k was preferable.

I get about the same interest rate from my credit union, so the $2,000 discount would be preferable.

Hey guys, I'm planning on getting a 2019 Rx350 in Michigan area. So far I am dead set on a trim that has MSRP of $55,804. Many dealers have cars of this price in stock. Before sending out any emails, I just want to know if asking for $49,000 as an OTD price is low balling??

Yes. Say you are with costco auto program. They should deduct 5k making it 50,804 . Pretty close to your range

Thank you for your reply and yes indeed! But I mean like 49,000 including taxes and fees, etc. So that makes MSRP somewhere around 46,000. Is that low- balling then?

MY guess is that it's real low and you would have to catch a dealer in a very generous frame of mind to make it happen. What all do you get for $55,804 MSRP? I want 12" screen and the package that includes leather seats. 18" wheels for ride comfort. They seem to come two ways, stripped and loaded.

The $55,804 price tag comes with these options with destination $1,025
  1. 3500 LBS TOW PREP PACKAGE
  2. ACCESSORY PACKAGE
  3. COLD AREA PACKAGE
  4. HEATED & VENTILATED FRONT SEATS
  5. NAVIGATION PACKAGE
  6. PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR W/BLIND SPOT MONITOR
  7. POWER TILT & SLIDE MOONROOF
  8. PREMIUM PACKAGE
  9. TOUCH-FREE POWER REAR DOOR
  10. WHEELS: 20" X 8" SPLIT 5-SPOKE DARK SILVER
  11. WOOD & LEATHER HEATED STEERING WHEEL
For a 12'' screen and leather seats, you are looking at MSRP of $50,000 flat. However, it is hard to find since dealers always sell them in a bundle.

I want to get an Rx350 very soon because the 2020s Rx is coming out in late August. So I assume dealers might wanna get rid of their stocks.

You can get one in your price range easily. You might have to settle for the single beam bi led headlamps . It's a deal breaker for many especially how the 2020 the triple beam headlamps come standard.

Oh that's fair. So is it easier to get a better deal in June or July? currently debating on when to start sending out emails. Plus when I email dealers, should I ask about discount on MSRP first or giving them my expected OTD price?

Not necessarily. They want those single beam cars out their lots now! i wouldn't be surprised if you get 7k-9k off . It's not exactly appealing and the daytime running lights look horrendous and very outdated. just fork up the extra cash for a big upgrade and you'll be futureproof for the next few years.

I am getting 15% off just negotiating via email through my local dealers in DFW. Got this price from Park Place AND Sewell dealers. This is on multiple trims. F Sport MSRP ~$59.5k, regular FWD RX350 MSRP ~$54,485. Both models are brand new 2019.

Getting both at 15% off including the 2k cash back offered atm. Just a FYI for anyone shopping right now.
