TIS Customization menus
The TIS tool allows diagnostics and customization of many vehicle functions. If you are curious what those options are, here are screen captures of the various things from a RX350 f-sport that show up in the "Customize" section.
Note: There are a couple settings already changed from their defaults.
When an item is selected, it turns green and a brief description shows up at the bottom of the window. Some are a bit cryptic, and a few are worse LOL

No info for "communication remote engine starter" . Sorry.
This vehicle was subscribed to enform, so not sure what that does to the values shown.

^ so with OP post, I decided to pull out my 4 year old miniVCI cable. I really didn't think there's a difference between the cables aside from the xhorse cable (original) and FTDI cables (cheaper knockoff of the knockoff). Mine came with firmware 1.4.1 4 years ago.
I found techstream software by way of google, made sure there were no viruses or malware, and it works. I'm running windows 10, so you have to find software and drivers that will work with win10. not too hard of a search.
but it works. I enable the "communication remote engine starter," and it doesn't do anything for me. Mind you I have not yet activated my enform subscription.

Has anyone figured out if this setting will turn back on the key fob remote starting ability when the enform subscription expires?
