Default Did any one tried installing Remote Engine Starter

Hi, Did anyone know or tried installing Remote engine starter on HS 250H? The dealer is asking $425 just for labor charge and $198 more for parts.

Mine came with it pre-installed, never used it, probably never will. Don't like to waste the gas.

I got mine preinstalled, it's truely a waste of money, it's not like the engine really needs to warm up much but the real problem is that the range on my remote really sucks. I can't get it to work unless I'm 50 feet from the car, I might as well walk over and start the car at that point. I guess if you live in a house, it might work, I'm live in a condo and my car is a bit away.

Well, if you don't mind using yourself as an antenna, holding the remote against your chin will boost the range of your remote.
