Side Mirror Failure
My 2004 RX330 Side mirror glass is showing a liquid inside similar to a waterline in an aquarium. It hinders the reflected image significantly.
I want to replace just the glass Part # A151R, but the dealer wanted $400.
Saw the following in eBay:

Anyone with experience?

i would stay away from that particular fix as it wont give you the same options. its just a fancy sticker.
i have the exact same problem, i will probably order a used glass peice or a whole new side mirror and rob the glass.

I guess you could try the eBay mirror, if it doesn't work out, you will have invested only $23.
Here are a couple more threads on broken or defective mirrors. Be aware the green liquid used inside the mirrors is destructive to your paint.

Same problem I have on my passenger side. It's showing brown tint wate lining. 98% percent is brown and you can just see the clear on the top part. It's annoying when driver side is clear and passenger side is brown/tinted. Is this normal?

Yes there is issue with liquid.
If you want original set you can buy from ebay. it costs more like $300
For cheap repair..follow this.....
Powered mirrors contains 2 layers and there is fluid in between.
there are 2 solutions.
1. Buy convex glass from ebay or amazon and stick top of that, it costs from 20$-50$ based on quality. ( it will not be effective like heated original mirror)
2. Remove mirror case and remove front layer which is plain mirror.
When removing, cover your car with paper or cloth to avoid liquid stains on car body near to mirror.
Your mirror act like convex any no difference in view, but no auto heat option.
