Default Good Bye!!!!

All of you will be happy to read this. I dumped the Junkxus V2.0 yesterday. Private sale, I received over $38K. So I no longer will have oil leaks , rattles, squeeks, wind noise and road noise, transmisson bucking, etc. and God knows what else. I no longer can complain! When you guys have problems with your RX's, you will remember the Junkxus V1.0 and V2.0. I do not think I will ever shop down market for a car again. (That is Lexus,Toyota,Buick, Caddilac,). If I get board, I may purchase a Junkxus just to complain about it, (just a joke) Thank You for reading and posting replys to my threads. Good luck and God bless.

junkxus,Don`t be fooled.European cars have plenty of glitches to live with too.My wife has owned Mercedes for over 12 years now,I have owned one.And they are no more reliable or put together any better than Lexus. At least we have the reliability of Toyota behind us.Good luck in your future, you may even be back.

I am curious to know what car replaces your RX?

Care to post a line here when you had made your decision?

I still have 3 cars now that the RX is gone. They are a E320, Jaguar XJ, and I traded my GMC Denali not even a couple of months ago for an 08 BMW X5. When Junkxus V1.0 was acting up.I will be ordering a 2010 E Class early next year when they are released. My wife is happy to see the RX leave too. The BMW has been trouble free!

Here is an example,my sister in-law bought a 2006 BMW series (not sure what # exactly) and has had oil leaks,(Dealer finally replaced the engine over it) key problems/ignition.Instrument cluster malfunction. And she bought this car new. What I am saying is,you may have had a Lexus lemon. What can I say,it happens to all of them,at one time or another.

Keep telling yourself the new X5 is trouble free. Stop by the X5 forums and see what kind of tranny issues, air shock issues, I drive issues that car has. I was a part of Bimmerfest forums and was going to buy the X5 till I read all the problems that vehicle has along with major complaints from everyone about gas mileage.

Listen no need to badger you. Good luck with your future cars and stay away from Jap cars we will pick up the slack for you.

You know, for someone who buys new cars every year or two, European cars are a better choice.

Junk, I hope you don't buy a used Z3. I could'nt stand anymore whining because I'm out of cheese. Anyway, it was nice reading your insults and putdowns on the Lexus Forum. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I am always amazed when people buy a car that cost 50% more and claim that its a nicer car, I would hope its a nicer car since you paid alot more for it.

Have fun complaining in the BMW forum

Lots of luck (and I really mean that). My experiences with German Chevy (oops BMW) have been exactly the opposite.
