Default Metal tapping noise

hello guys, i started to hear some metal like tapping noise when crossing small bumps or railway,it is coming from the rear,left side,,,suspension feels ok,,,,if you have any ideas before visitind the mechanic thank you

Sorry, don't have an answer for you as I don't think I've experienced that, but just thought I'd mention "Justanswer.com" since its helped me before with noise issues, dash panel removal, etc.

I've started two other threads in this forum asking for help in various issues and when other forums members have been unable to answer my questions, I've gone to this site, which has Lexus mechanics online almost all the time. It does cost money though but you also get the option to sign up for a free trial period, during which you can ask all the questions you'd like, then opt out of it.

Hope this helps! And sorry if it sounds like an ad but I think its a good resource (especially with the 30 day trial).

Don't know if yours has the metal shield near the gas tank or not, but for mine they bend the metal away from something it hits up against as part of
troubleshooting rattles in the back.
