not to mention consumer reports stopped automatically recommending new toyotas. and some of the lexus models are no longer recommended, due to falling quality and build issues. though im sure people will start flaming me now.

Well, for the love of Mary, I picked my car up from the dealer and they repaired the white dust issue, it was some coating pealing off in the AC system. The brake noise was repaired via Junkxus post about the check valve. The oil leak will have to be done at another time as the engine must come out!!!!! Now some 150 miles later the transmission seems to be slipping in and out of 3rd gear. I will call a lawyer about getting rid of this piece of junk and purchase a Kia. Maybe now I will get some good luck and win the state lottery. Iam so upset regarding this car.

Got my 2008 RX350 in November 07 and now has 4,000 miles.

It's VIN number starts with 2t2

Not one problem to date!

I am now shopping to replace my RX350. I thought my BMW was bad. I can not believe the reviews of the RX, ...Great, ....class leader,....Top quality. Mine is poor, bottom feeder, lowest quality. The resale value is also very low!!!

Hard to believe your bad luck. My 07 rx350 has been flawless. No rattles, just smooth driving. The only thing I had to do was to replace the thin arm handles with a wide one and still no rattles (almost 15k now). Maybe the quality is going down with the 08/09's as they get ready to transition to a new model?

It's funny how it works. I have not had anything go wrong with my RX330. It's very reliable. I always thought if you want problems you buy a ford or Chev....
