So this morning my iPhone did not want to auto connect to the Wireless carplay. Tried everything to make it work and nothing. Still need to disconnect cables from the main box - but has someone came across this problem?

I already messaged Eric over at Lexion.

This are the little issues that concern me about doing this upgrade. The Lexuon unit is supposed to be the best out there.

Still waiting on a response from Lexion, but it could be something with the Zlink app rather then the actual device itself. Hopefully its something quick.

I have that same Zlink app on my Jeep Wrangler and when I upgraded my iPhone 10 xs max to the iPhone 12 Pro Max it stopped working. I have to use the autolink app to get CarPlay to work. BTW my girlfriends iPhone 10 xs max still works with the zlink app.

At this time I am getting really concerned. I have had an issue with the touchpad since install, and in the beginning Lexion was responding on What's App. Two weeks ago they said they were going to send me a patch "tomorrow," but they've gone silent since. I've text them multiple times asking for some sort of update, and nothing...

What issues with the touchpad are you having?

I need to check when I get in the car if the WiFi was on and stuff on the android device since i was not seeing the WiFi when trying to access BT - maybe a setting was disabled. I also had an update pending in Apple so maybe that will also fix it.

Lexion was very responsive at first with me as well and now its a response every once in a while. This whole 12 hour difference really sucks. He read my message this morning but no response.

Also i want to see if we can get the updated Zlink. I have 3.8.11 and they have newer releases now.

If I move my finger any faster than snail slow the cursor shoots off the screen. It's like the acceleration factor is cranked up. In the settings, I have to select ****/mouse as selecting touchpad stops the touchpad from functioning at all. I have tried all combos of the mouse/origin/touchpad settings with no improvement. I have a second touch pad I was experimenting with, so I installed that pad and no change. All wiring is correct (not possible to hook up the ****/mouse connector to the touchpad).

The problem is not a deal breaker, but what happens when I am driving and I go to move the mouse it jumps from where I was trying to go. It's a big driving distraction to try and track down the cursor location.

Oh and just an update. Seems that Eric got Covid19 which is why his response rate has been lower. I did get the Carplay to work. Not sure if it was a temporary bug or if the software update for Apple fixed it. But it has been working. I did go into the dash this past weekend and organized all the cables and mounted the box to the smart key box module to make things more OEM and tighter fit.

Highly recommend it. @GPark its a great infotainment system. Besides the recent bugs I had. I have not had any issues that have been presented with all other competitors. And trust me. I have tried them all.

This is by far the best in class. Hope you join the fam.

Good to know! I just emailed GROM. Hopefully they'll take care of me and allow me to return

Outside my buggy touchpad integration, this unit is so much better than the Vline2. Grom so far has a slight leg up on support for issues, but if Eric can get the factory to fix my issue I will have no complaints.
