Do any of you guys have an aftermarket sub/amp hooked up and are having issues after the Lexion unit? My amp is wired to the factory amp harness, remote turn on, LOC speaker level inputs etc. I am having issues after install. The amp will not turn on now, making me wonder if the Lexion unit bypasses the factory amp. I have unplugged the Lexion harness and the amp/sub works perfectly. Also, I cannot access the Lexus OS at all. I press and hold the menu button and it switches to Lexus nav screen, but jog mouse doesn't work. Puzzled as to what is going on. I know this is the RC section, I have mine installed on my IS200t.

Anyone have a link to this unit on their site? Long term users, any issues at this point? Does this screen actually sit flush like the factory screen? I tried one about a year or so ago from Seicane (?) and it actually didn't fit correctly because the back of the screen case was too large. This one looks like it's shaped more like the factory screen but wanted to know from others hands on experience with it. Can you use the OEM plastic piece that's clipped in front of the factory screen and the OEM screws that you lose on other screen installs like the Seicane and 4x4shop models?

Lexion Screen

i have had mine for 2 months now no issues. You can use the OEM bolts to bolt it down screen sits flush. The OEM cover doesn’t fit because this screen is a bit thicker. They supply a replacement cover trim piece which doesn’t fit perfectly as it’s a little small. I had debating on trimming down the OEM trim piece but didn’t do it.

All in all this unit is awesome performs perfect, love the CarPlay. Only issue I have with the CarPlay is that the wireless feature doesn’t connect fast, sometimes it does and sometimes it takes forever. My solution to this was to use a usb cable and gave the wired option which is better because it also charges phone.

Thank you for the information.

I have a couple of questions for you on it -
1. Do you use the usb ports currently in the car or did you have to run a new one from the system?
2. When you say it's thicker than the original screen, what part are you talking about? Is the back of the system the same width as the OEM system? The seicane model I bought the back cover was too wide so it didn't sit in there correctly.
3. The original bolts work, correct? Can you snap a pic of what the trim piece looks like installed now?
4. Does the reverse camera work without any issues? Parking sensors work without any issues? Do the lines move correctly with the reverse camera?

Thank you again for your help and information!!

1. The trim piece that covers the bolts. yes that’s the supplied one from Lexion. It’s more black than the OEM color but since you can’t see it while driving or in passenger seat it doesn’t bother me that much. The usb still works meaning it charges but doesn’t interface with the new screen. I ran a usb cable from the unit to the side of the center console to have access to the wired CarPlay. I’m sure I could have ran that cable to the glove box and replace the OEM one but I didn’t do it.

2.yes this screen does stick out a bit more but still looks good.

3. Original bolts still work fine, a little bit tight to get them in there but if you’re careful they will fit just fine.

4. Reverse camera works perfect.
- parking sensors still function perfectly
- the reverse lines still move when turning, I my self have them turned off as I don’t like them. I have simple ones one where it just shows two lines.

I hope this information helps.

I found I have another question. Does the factory mic not work with this system so you lose the use of bluetooth phone calls if you don't run the mic they include?

Has anyone heard back from their what's app account lately?

I got some good support the first day I reached out, in terms of getting the mic setup but recently I haven't heard anything with one of the more difficult questions I have. I bought the unit based on the fact that the website said Wireless Android Auto, but when i reached out to Eric/Jae on whatsapp, they said that android auto is wired only. This was supremely disappointing as I bought it specifically for wireless use. He let me know 2 weeks ago that he was checking with the techs and would get back to me on Monday, but I haven't heard anything since.

I also can't hear audio when I receive calls. The caller can hear me, but I don't hear the ringing when i call out, and I'm not able to hear them when they're speaking.

Considering returning the unit completely as it doesn't do what it was advertised to do, anyone else have luck with wireless android auto, or getting support from them?

I think I read on their site that it doesn't support wireless android auto only wireless carplay and wired android auto. I think you might have just misread the wording on it because it's on the product page regarding the supported options.
As for the support option I can't answer that. They do seem to be really slow in responding to any inquiries in general.

The support is slow, or sucks.

Did you end up buying the system InveredMP? You liking it or have issues with it if you did?

I installed mine two weeks ago. Have had issues with it. Most issues are resolved and it’s behaving properly, however one issue is will occurring and it’s a major problem IMO. My jog mouse doesn’t work under the Lexus OS so I can access any of the stock menus or settings. Super annoying. Communication is spotty for sure. Saturday I was told a new harness would be delivered “next wee” but I’ve seen no tracking info. I don’t mind buying overseas products but there really needs to be US support for this. The time zone difference makes it hard, and sometimes it takes days to get a response. At least 4x4 is in Canada and it sounds like their customer support is excellent. Kinda makes me want to switch.

Thank you for the laugh! "Next wee" lmao!

So are you saying the trackpad doesn't work at all in the OEM screen or is it doing the bouncing all over the place stuff that other people cited? What other issues did you have (if you don't mind sharing)?

I'm a bit nervous about making this purchase but the one I tried before was from Seicane and it was terrible. I didn't go with 4x4 back then for several reasons (and I don't remember why now because the units were the same price at the time).

No it just doesn’t work at all. Works fine on the Lexion OS though.

My backup camera didn’t work, and I can’t remember what else. I couldn’t figure out the audio, but it needed to be on aux to play through CarPlay. I only use CarPlay now but even then, sometimes the music just won’t play, and I’ll have to mess around with trying to get it back on aux. it’s a pain without having use of the jog mouse. I am hoping I see a harness soon and that fixes it.

I hope you get a harness too and that it fixes the issue/s you're having.
On a different note - is your avatar an Extra? You fly?

I'm also thinking about the mouse issue and on the back of the unit is there two possible spots to plug in the harness that would work the mouse? I thought I saw somewhere that there's two options and one side is for the trackpad and the other is for the jog wheel that's in models like the IS. If that's the case - I know it sounds ridiculous and I'm not questioning your skills but did you verify it's in the correct port or are they dummy plugs that you can't plug in to other ports?

Does your backup camera work now?
