does the factory antenna for the radio still work? Also are using the factory gps antenna or the one that they provided? One more thing does the usb in the center console still work and charge?

 

Factory antenna for radio still works. Factory gps antenna works but i also have the one included installed behind the glove box. The usb in the center console works for charging, but i dont use it. I ordered off of the website after emailing them my car specs. It took about a 2 weeks to get to USA and then about 3 weeks for the new harness cable to come. I chose this over the 4x4 because the UI looked simpler and it came wirelessly which is a huge plus. Done with the wire life.

 

Im just wondering if you can by-pass the aftermarket gps antenna and use the OEM gps antenna for better signal. I recently did a screen upgrade on my Jeep and that’s what I did. I had to buy a special adapter for the gps antenna to work.

 

Any complains about it thus far? Does it work well?

 

The music stops playing when the car gets thrown into reverse. Wireless carplay makes up for it though.

 

Yeah I have the same issue on my android stereo that I installed on my Jeep. But like you mention CarPlay is worth the upgrade, plus I have a 10” on my Jeep now.

 

That's actually quite strange that it does that. What did the vendor say about it?

 

On my unit (non lexion) there's an advanced options menu with a check box to enable/disable the mute on reverse.

New questions, is there noise present in the audio signal? If you're not playing any music, and crank up the sound level can anything be heard?

I actually had the Navihua set and i had to return because it would auto switch to AUX mode when i went from the OEM screen to the Android screen and getting audio and BT to work became a pain. However, i actually only noticed that sound when it was in AUX mode with nothing playing, sounded like cracking almost.

After unsuccessfully getting a response from Lexion, I went ahead and ordered the 4x4 unit. I had previously ordered the Lexion but after a month past by and i was getting around the bush responses from the agent. I canceled my order. I plan on creating a review on it when received and installed.

 

Have you tried downloading Android Auto app and using it? I am planning to use it as standalone Android OS or AA via my phone
