Well....so I see where you are coming from with that point and yes sadly that probably is what has happened here... However i totally disagree with how it all went down. That statement "Superman ultimately gave up on the citizens to let them rot" if true it is quite a travesty and to be honest its just crappy service from him or any business that would function that way... but i will agree with you totally that Yes there are a few a-holes out there and those people should have been a bit more patient with Matt especially on a heavily modded car, that i definitely don't deny and i have seen it on here.... but to punish the rest of us good decent folks?...in here that have been nothing but nice to Matt from the beginning?....this is not cool man. Personally, i can say (and this is just me) I have done nothing but always speak highly both of Matt and OV, paid him full price for his tune (even when he offered me a discount code) and made many attempts on this forum plus several FB groups to try hard to promote both him and OV to other prospective members who might be interesting in his tunes. He promised me support if i had any problems.... but then 5-6 months later goes MIA when i patently get back to him on an email we had going for a simple limp mode issue on 1.02 for a common code. I will still give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he is busy as i know he has a growing family and he said he was moving his shop so things were crazy.... but yes if the other instead is true then you would be exactly right and if so then he basically got fed up with the few and now completely bailed even on the good people like myself. If this is the case, then there are a lot of good people that should be pretty pissed at him. They paid him for goods and services that he doesn't support. I will keep all of you posted on if he ever responds to any of my emails to him for help and sorry guys for the rant, but i feel this needed to be said for all of us (the good ones) who decided to give OV a chance.
Im happy with my tune. I think he’s too busy with his VFTuner right now so he doesn’t have time for the flash tunes.
He did offer a huge discount for the VFTuner, but I’d have to find a shop that could tune the car. I hope once the VFTuner launch is settled he’ll help us with our tunes as his product included tuning support. With that being said, if he cannot provide the services that were offered and purchase, we all have a right for some sort of refund for services not provided.
Waiting on my tactrix openport 2.0. Already have the PCMFlash guardant dongle for Lexus/Toyota CAN-flashing. Gonna finally get rid of this annoying BMS JB4 courtesy of TTI Motorsports. Gonna flash stage 2+ at home. Got an Astron 50A variable voltage power supply (depends on how long the flash is) Tune out the rear O2, cause that p0420 code screws with the damn cruise control. And possible get rid of that God forsaken dead pedal DBW. No more O2 sensor fittings and no more sending JB4 logs to Terry when the unit itself goes into some debug mode and doesn't function over Bluetooth anymore.
Was gonna trade it for a q50 and mod the guts out of it, but a bit upside down. Thing didn't hold value. Haha. So F it, flash it because soccer mom car.
I have a 2016 GS200T with a JB4. Its running in the +4psi mode. What is the consensus on the +5psi mode for stock vehicles? I have seen a few mentions of running the extra psi on a stock setup but wanted to see if its really not a safe choice for an otherwise stock setup. I went a bit overboard on my last car so looking to keep this stock other than possibly water injection once the 2 year CPO warranty is up.
Don't worry. Engine holds more than 380 h.p. in stock.
Thanks, wasn't sure if there was a specific restriction with the supporting mods that are typically recommended with higher psi such as a better flowing downpipe or reinforced charge pipe.
I’m not sure if you’re still looking for a bone stock car or not. But I just picked up an 2016 IS200t with 34,000 miles on it. I was looking looking for tune options, which is why I ended up on this thread. Located in 77007.
I know it's been discussed in previous pages of this thread, I think some bros here mentioned about this tuning company from Taiwan doing Hybrid Turbo without having a clear outcome and aren't supporting this upgrade anymore, at least out of Taiwan. (I checked with them before).
Some tuners here have also promised to deliver but everything is left in limbo at the end of the day.
So I wonder if something really happened mid way when tuning these vehicles?
Are we just cursed? Should we switch to the dark side?
