I’m really curious why they stopped offering the tune. I’m glad I got mine when I did.
I asked Matt about an ETA for the big turbo and he told me that they stopped working on the project for now to focus on other things.
I wonder if they’re dropping the Lexus platform altogether.
This wouldn’t surprise me. Even RR Racing has shelved their 8AR-FTS efforts for a while. I think the reality is that there just isn’t enough demand for this platform. It’s a great car but it’s not really suppose to be a “fast” car. You can’t just flash a tune and have the same gains you would with BMW, Audi, and VW. It’s intended for a different market. Lexus stands for reliability and that’s what they were going for. I, like most of us on here, really wanted this platform to push some good numbers. I’ve come to terms with the fact that if it’s power I want, I need to switch cars which I plan to do this fall. But still, I think both the IS and the RC are great cars and would love to see the return of the ISF one day with a twin turbo I6. That would bring me running back to the brand.
I had a tuning box for my IS 200T and it definitely made a difference in performance. However, I do think that many posters here are right; the car isn’t made to be fast. The timing box made more of a difference in the torque department.
Has anyone reached out to tti motorsports usa about their tune? Their site is showing unavailable as well. They created a "hybrid"turbo for the is200t at 1 time and have the tune to go with it. Not sure if they plan on releasing another one or not.
Okay so I've sent in a data log on 2/11 and received a new tune with throttle response adjustments on 2/16. After a few days of driving, it definitely feels more alive and eager to move on re-acceleration. I'll probably be doing another data log to see if any fine tuning can be done.
what are you using to data log with? I need to do the same as i am testing some things for another company and need some info to send in.
I have emailed Matt myself to see if he can send me a 1.02 revision. i too did try the learned idle sequence using the OV p5flash utility (reset LV, and reset AT, then, start the car, let it idle for 15 minutes without doing anything no ac) but still no luck, I am still getting code P0505 Idle Air Control System. Has anyone had to replace the vacuum regulator valve for this code recently? I know they go bad, but i do not set a fault with 1.01g-c so i think its just an issue the 1.02 tune file.

How did you read your P0505 code? Have you gone back to stock and is the CEL still there?
I had a P0001 code with my tune, I used a cheap Harbor Freight reader but when I went to a Lexus Specialized shop, the code was actually a P0137 for my downstream O2 sensor. Turned out my sensor had become loose. If you haven't already, I'd get the CEL read by a shop with TechStream to make sure it's the correct code. I had to replace my vacuum regulator but it did not cause any CELs.
Very different from what I was told on the phone. However, I have a 2016 so maybe the newer models will release first. I really hope RR sticks with it. They are our only hope for a tune that actually works.

Thanks, @Thirst16 yeah I actually have a cracked version of Techstream but i scanned it with both P5flash (the one that Matt gives with the OV set up) and a Innova scan tool. I agree the cheap scanners can be wrong, i might check it again with TechStream to be sure if it pops the same code. So far no it never triggers on stock or with tune 1.01G-C only triggers with the higher boost tune 1.02.
I see you are running 1.02. Most of the things I have seen so far is that this version has several issues. Have you experienced any of these issues and if so, how were they resolved?
