All the sensors you tap into are on the same side as the air filter. Right side of the engine bay your left when you are looking into the bay.

Ok so here’s a mini review
at first I was sad because there was no change but! You gotta give it time to work the map and stuff I guess
once it was locked in all I can say is wow! This is the way the car should have been factory. Obviously we won’t get any top end improvement but drivin around town is a blast! I can’t wait to see what bms has in store for us maybe a stage 2????? Lmao I reset my mpg gauge to see how much my lead foot changes it. I’m sure it won’t be to bad
im so happy with the product and we all know it’s waaaaaaaaaaay more fun to drive now
all this is doing is making me wanna start modding the heck out of her
Bad news guys, engine codes have been posted and it doesn't look like the new Supra engine will be using our 8AR platform. Not sure how credible his information is, nonetheless, this video was pretty interesting.
How is that bad news? It will be using the vastly superior 30i and 40i BMW engines. That's a mega monster upgrade if there ever was one. With the 30i new Supra--You can flip your hat around out of the box and brush your hair back and be faster than any 8AR with the strongest mods.
I wonder if this means the next IS would also share BMW engines? Last I heard Toyota was working on their own TT V6... but maybe they're not done developing yet and for now will be using BMW engines? Putting the 8AR in the Supra (what's supposed to be a performance icon) would be a mistake.
Great engine for commuting and fuel economy, but not so good for performance. Toyota has the 8AR on deck but is apparently choosing BMW for their engines given the engine codes posted in the video. Interesting!
