The GS stock doesn't have a true LSD, it has an open differential. So power doesn't go to both wheels, only one, which is why power breaking and hammering the accelerator will not allow one to leave 2 patches of rubber on the road. I am not a technical genius on automobiles, but using the search engine will bring up a lot of info as the LSD has been discussed in detail a few times. I'm happy with my TRD LSD but I agree with LexCiting on it being an expensive mod, but worth it in the end IMO.
I have the RMM 3.76 LSD and love it . It is the way the car should have been from the factory. If you don't have one you need to get one. Hammering it around corners is way fun and the car really moves out.
