On a completely NOT technical matter, Lexus can pretty much guaranty that hardly any of it's current users of their (delayed) subscription services will see 'sign ups' at owners expense as they begin to expire soon, with this kind of current handling of OTA updates. Toyota maybe, Hyundai / Kia and others, but a so called luxury brand deciding to enter into into this subscription services business model without what appears to be little preparation or study on what's needed, seems to have shot themselves in the proverbial foot on the successful future of this particular income stream.
That's exactly something I agree with. Lexus is essentially proving to be a rather sorry excuse of a member of the software sophistication club. Probably indeed run like a mom and pop business in terms of their software offerings. And we are the proverbial guinea pigs of their pathetic adventure - lucky to have an update.
Tesla run its own datacenters and compute, and that is how they vertically integrate their software infrastructure and offerings, and roll out updates literally by the day. Not that I would buy a Tesla, but that's for reasons unrelated to their software prowess.

Lexus is not in the business of hosting and they are using cloud services from Amazon and/or other cloud providers. That would be definitely better for them and not have to get infrastructure people to support the data centers. They do have Toyota connect which is based in the US with software engineers. This system was not built in Japan, but in the US.
As mentioned…to receive that Tesla ‘benefit’ requires owning a Tesla. I’ll pass. I have the recent Lexus software update. A lot of this grumbling strikes me as a first world issue (doesn’t even qualify as a problem). Patience. Deep breath. This will all work out in due course.
I got an update on my 2024 NX250h. When I first checked for a softy update it said there wasn't one but then less than 5 seconds later it was available. One for Navigation and one for Voice Recognition. Has anyone seen any visual differences since the update?

Got notified yesterday that software update was available. I have tried three times to update. It appears to download the update and then after about 1 minute after the download bar has completely filled it tells me update cannot be completed with error code 103 I believe. Anyone else have this issue? I have a 2022 350h.

Well, buying a Lexus is in itself a first-world act - hence regressive-immature Lexus software update qualifies as a problem in the first-world.
Hence the "grumbling" (which is really musing, going by "everyone is entitled to their opinion" philosophy) - to put things into perspective. No need for deep breath.

Try connecting to Wifi... You may have a bad signal in the area?
My 2022 NX 450+ also still on 2050 Still waiting for them to fix the Amazon issue got car July 2022 Giving voice commands for Lexus to play amazon playlist worked great till November 2022 THEN Stopped after MANY visits to Dealer, and contact with Lexus Headquarters was told a software update would fix the issue in the future WELL now April 2024 still no fix. Guess the good thing is everything else works great. Unfortunately the Amazon issue was a feature we used frequently
Received the 2070 update July 3, 2024. Unfortunately it did not address my playing amazon music like I was told back in 2022 updates would correct the problem.

I do not have Lexus Interface and I got a software update on July 1st. It went from 2050 to 2150. So far no issues and I am hoping it solved my problem with the PIN pop up requests. I use Carplay for my navigation which works fine for me.
