Has anyone in Canada asked their dealer to perform the software update at all? Especially since we should all be going in soon to get our other hybrid cable update work done. If I had knew when went in last time I would have asked them to do it. I looked to confirm as I was just in a few weeks ago and I'm still on 2170 HU SW.
I tried all the methods to update the system, Thanks @Droid13 with no luck, it still has an error code when installing.
Called the dealer and they said they have seen this issue before. I have to bring it in for a Service #3 anyway so I will have them update it at that time.
I'm at 2170 on my 2022 350h. I thought I would give the USB update process a try. Well when I go into the settings section for updates there's not even a USB option there at all for me to begin the process. So maybe they've removed this feature with an earlier update, at least in Canada.
I had also asked for dealer to check for and install any updates if they exist, while I was going to be in for the door handles and rearview mirror updates. They responded that the dealer does not get involved in software updates as they are only handled by OTA updates. Hmm I think there's a legal concern possibly here. The dealer is tasked with the mirror software update but is not obliged to do a full software update. Plus I went digging and Lexus wants you to refer to your Lexus app to see if there's any version updates required, presently mine reads that it's up to date, so I doubt if they're even close to releasing anything for me. Though based on their track record it's up to date until it's not and I get an OTA update. I think they don't want to let the cat out of the bag and have everyone rush to dealers to have them update the software. As most computer geeks will attest to, updates are the bane of their existence!
I just checked my current SW version. My display stated : “No Updates Available” Here’s the update versions my car shows. They must have been downloaded automatically, OTA
I have a '22 350H and it was just in for the 2 service campaigns mirror and door handles. When I booked the service person said the dealers generally don't get involved in updates since the car can handle them over the air. They did end up doing a quick check and said my 2170 is the latest offered for my car, so I'm already on the latest. Now does that mean the improvements offered on the newer update is possibly not compatible with components on my car, who knows. Or maybe Lexus is slow rolling the next update out, so recent cars that have only left the factory recently get it and now they're going to prove out the 'beta' version as it were to see if any issues pop up on them. Just my thoughts. Our page in Canada doesn't even display the "Your vehicle's interface System has the latest update." as you show above. I can't even access the car's USB update page, it simply doesn't show it. At system software update page it just says I'm up to date.

L-SB-0047-25 technical service bulletin has v2230 software files. I don't know about equivalent in Canada. Which can be installed even if not available for end user updates.
You may try to talk with a dealer telling your car has some of the numerous warranty issues listed in this TSB. And telling him specifically that technician needs to download it from the TSB in TIS (Toyota Technical Information System), not over the air as usual.
This TSB is internal TIS only and not published on NHTSA website as far as I understand. (Or I can't find it, but there are similar ones for other cars published).

I just did the USB update check and it says I have the latest software as well (22 NX350H in Canada) - Currently on version 2170. Guess I just have to wait
I watched the video. It sounds like a certain tech I already follow on YouTube, funny thing is I believe he's Canadian. I've left a comment for him on the channel asking if he knows if there's a Canadian version for this TSB.
Do I detect a Quebecois accent there? Anyway, that's a big list of fixes. I like fixes, but I get excited for "enhancements" even more. I hope they are actually things that will add more joy to my life.
A couple items particularly caught my attention. The first one, "defaulting to last screen instead of experience drive connect screen". As I am only 2 mths away from losing my initial subscription, that sounds nice. I had a rental Camry for a few days away on biz that always came up with the subscription screen and it was quite annoying.
But another thing I noticed that piqued my curiosity. Given the fairly complex instructions and apparent risks in doing the updates incorrectly, but also one of the last points was "Software update system enhancements and updates", I'm curious if this update MUST?? be installed manually and that it enables an improved form of OTA updates for future updates. Maybe they've discovered enough issues with the current OTA system that is afraid of letting this one go out OTA. Just thinking out loud for this one. I know the previous update took so very, very long to roll out it almost seemed like after the first few people got it, the rest were never going to. Interesting.
I couldn't stop laughing at the final steps required to complete the update! Opening and closing the door repeatedly, what if you lose count? Start all over again? Possibly a Lexus tech has special licence 'feature' for the software Techstream or Techstream ADVi so they wouldn't have to do the hokie pokie at the end.
Does he sound familiar? https://www.youtube.com/@Viktor_G_Automotive/videos
I'm finding if my iphone wirelessly links up right away or if I've plugged it in so it's a wired hook up, then my phone does a 'continue where you left off' thing right away and provides me with my last carplay screen. So I don't get the dreaded subscription page. Having said that I just unselected a handoff feature on my phone recently because my new wireless headphones I got for christmas were always starting up my spotify service all the time when it connected.

Which is major hassle IMHO.

Does anybody know if this TSB is active in Canada? My dealership advises they will perform it, but if it's not "Canadian" they will charge me the time to do it. Seems ludicrous to me.
JasDmw you may want to print out the TSB from the USA so the tech can actually look through the Canadian bulletins and match up the details. I believe the numbering system we use here is totally different so it may be a bit of a needle in a haystack. I'm sure there must be a search feature they can utilize to input a symptom and see possible solutions. When I was in and asked I simply got the brush off that they did a check and I was up to date with software and they didn't see any issues. I may have to push a little harder I guess. Good luck! You may want to indicate which problem you're having so they have a reason to implement a 'fix' and have it covered under warranty.

Answered my own question today while checking my car in. No: that TSB applies only in the us. Funny as just yesterday the car asked for my passcode. Maybe this will be released in Canada in the future, but for now, nope.
