Default 2005 Navigation Disk

Does anyone have the part # for the new disk. I remember a thread about it, but I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance, Skip

Push on Menu. When the screen changes, you should see on the upper right-hand corner of the screen, the word, DVD. Touch the word DVD and the screen will change. You will see the Version Number.

4.1 I used the system for the first time and was very impressed! All the streets were there and easy to read, the audible prompts were clear and gave plenty of warning.

I'm not sure what the next generation of NAV has in store (besides bluetooth) but for navigation purposes this unit is great. Maybe after a year of usage I'll find its idiosyncracies and complain about them, but first impression is that its a pretty solid unit.

Thanks for the directions on finding the version.

Default I think I know...

JeremySM - I believe the next verison of the NAVI system will be similar to the one in my (now year old) '04 Acura TL in that it can (1) Dial POI phone numbers directly off the NAVI system (This is the feature you see the guy use in the current TL commercial where he calls a hotel that's out in the middle of nowhere and the lady at the desk ask him "Do you need directions?" to which he replies, "Nope, I've got them"). If it's like the Acura you will also be able to (2) Use voice commands to navigate around the NAVI system insted of having to try to use the touch screen (VERY handy at times). Maybe a few graphics changes but these are the reasons you would want 05 over 04. In the end, I couldn't resist the tremendous 04 discounts so mine should be here next week. PS - I think the current NAVI version is 4.01.
