My brand new 2025 NX450h+ has version 2230 installed.

 

Interesting. Factory usually gets the latest release a couple months before they start releasing it for updates to the existing fleet.

 

Just checked my 2025 350h. Took delivery 9/24 in USA. Has version 2200.

 

I have tried to update my 2023 NX250 numerous times and each one fails indicating a 106 error.
Updating from V2050 to V2170
The update fully downloads and stalls about half way through the installation
Any advice or similar issues?

 

If it were me trying to solve it myself, a few things I would consider (without any particular experience myself, the two updates so far I've had once started completed fine):

• Try using the USB stick update method. I know you said the trouble is install, not download, but its something that changes the circumstances of the process actions, so worth a shot.
• Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to ensure every single bit of electronics is freshly restarted. Yea, the infotainment system can be rebooted separately (and appears to do so between vehicle starts), but there is a lot of stuff that remains powered and who knows what exactly these updates touch. I had to do this once on a Subaru to correct an infotainment issue even though I'd pulled the fuses and rebooted the unit, only disconnecting the battery seemed to work. I've even seen issues at work where a computer was having BIOS issues even though it was completely powered off with deactivated sleep mode, but only when we physically removed the power cable to completely de-energize the system did the issue go away. Always on electronics can be troublesome to de-glitch.
• Finally, there is that "Reinstall All Apps" option within the system settings. Not really sure exactly what this does, but the manual does say it helps clean out the memory (basically sounds like a method to clear a corrupted data cache from the system when things get wonky). Again, one of those "change the circumstances" just to see fix attempt.

Same here. Just pickup same one yesterday and it has 2230 installed. I hope this is the latest one.

I tried all the methods to update the system, Thanks @Droid13 with no luck, it still has an error code when installing.
Called the dealer and they said they have seen this issue before. I have to bring it in for a Service #3 anyway so I will have them update it at that time.

 

Has anyone gotten the 2230 update over the air yet. Hoping it gets released soon for the rest of us?

Just an FYI - I just checked my 2025 RX450h+ that I purchased in June and it has 2230 already.

 

My 2026 NX450h+, which arrived from Japan 4-5 weeks ago shows 2238 (HU SW).

 

All new vehicles get the latest software update, but older vehicles are still waiting for the OTA.
