I read that its supposed to be released in the UK in october, but will the U.S. get an early release. When are they going to officially announce?
The difference between the RAV4 and NX will be even greater than the Highlander and RX (which share platform, engine, and many mechanical components), yet my RX still looks and feels like a Lexus and not a Toyota, especially in the materials quality, fit+finish, and NVH. (And I've owned a Venza V6 and a few other Toyotas, all great BTW).

N.America release is slated for November, but nothing official yet, just insider info so far. What is unclear is whether both the 200t and 300h variants will be released at the same time, or just one versus the other. It's possible the 300h will come first followed by a 200t likely to wear the F-Sport badge months later to keep the interest going...

Thats a pretty astute observation...I've never really thought about it before but you're 100% right when you compare an SUV to a sedan within the lineup at the same price point.

It is totally wrong.

Please Lexus...make one CT-F with 350 hp...hybrid....sport suspensions....i know you can.
I'd say the CT is too small for the majority of buyers. Otherwise why isn't it flying off dealers lots? I did buy a CT and wanted to love it but after a month I took it back to the dealer and traded up to an RX. I'm 6-1" and getting in and out of the CT was a chore especially after owning a SUV for the last 10 years. . I'm hoping the NX will have much better in and out access among other things.

The CT is having a hard time selling due to the power train. It is pretty unimpressive to have just 145 hp or so, and 10 seconds to 60 mph.

With that much money, you may want to throw in some more and grab an IS.

Again, the NX is great, but not enough for people to buy. People like me, who have RX already, roomier, 275hp NA, also comfy.

Or people with RAV-4. The Rav used to have V6 but since Toyota is going to produce NX, the Rav got down graded to only I4. I wouldnt trade my V6 Rav for an NX...

Unless i was a new buyer who never had any of those above, I would pick NX. Otherwise...why NX ? I seriously doubt with that height, and heavy body, the NX feels any sportier than a Rav-4 or Rx F

Rav4 and RX drive COMPLETELY different, and CT is best selling car in the class.

You wouldnt trade 2006 Rav4 V6 for NX?

What class/market are you referring to? Entry lux hybrid? Of which it would be 1 of 1?

It was outselling A3 hatch and 1 series when they were still selling in the US. A3 was its true direct competitor and it never sold anywhere as well as CT200h.

Seeing that none of us have really seen a picture of an NX, really seen pricing, and certainly not driven one...I don't see how anyone can say it is or is not worth buying lol

I do hope i am wrong, and i do know rav4 and rx are different. But i also hear rumor saying Nx is built on Rav4 chasis.

Didnt some body said Nx200t will only net in 275 hp ? Isnt that Rav4 v6 territory ?

And Rav 4 V6 last year was 2012 :-D

I highly doubt the NX will have more than 250hp, which is perfectly fine for a small cross over. Fuel efficiency is key here.

Yeah, then I doubt people will trade in their 12 Rav4 V6 for it, neither does any with 275 hp RX 350 with more space
