I can see an issue with glaring. THey'll have to build a housing for this.

Real car is probably going to be revealed in Europe as it is made for Europe most likely.
Can you explain this? Turbo is not coming to the US ?

What is up with the grille though? Overall it is a great design. Very athletic and aggressive but the grille leaves something to be desired.

i doubt final car will look anything like this in the end... hopefully it will but i doubt it.

As to my comment about Turbo, of course it will come to the USA. I just meant that the car was probably designed for Europe, as for us this size is perfect. In Japan SUVs are not that popular and in USA, RX is going to be much better value (RX here is much more expensive than GS).

So they probably want to reveal production in Europe. Same goes for RC200t - they said in European PR that "european engine specifications will be revealed closer to launch".

I think it is going to be available in Both FWD or AWD.

The 2.0 Turbo engine is very impressive, it is way better than my RX350 It just look smaller

Very cool that we get a bit of engine details .

So the press release mentions "VVT-iw", I wonder if that's a typo or something new? Awesome to see that this has the latest D4-S system with fan-spray direct injectors. No carbon build up problems will occur thanks to the D4-S system.

The engine doesn't have any electric-assist it seems, but I wonder if well see that on other future turbo engines.

Very interested in the detailed specs for this engine, especially the power curves and fuel economy.

^Also very excited to see what this engine ultimately delivers. I love my Rav4 and think the platform is great, but wouldn't mind something with interior and exterior Lexus design, and of course, more power

I'm interested to see what transmission they bolt it to. Direct sport shift 8AT? 7spd CVT?

what would be your reaction if this concept was done by Hyundai?

i think it's the most hideous concept ever in past 10 years. I really can't think of anything worse. Lexus is gone mad on this one.

i mean how do you make LC and then make this? same design concept, but one is so beautiful and other is so mindbogglingly ugly. designers...

I would think it's interesting, nothing more. I don't react much to concepts period. I'm not in love with this concept, I just think it's interesting.

To each their own. I've seen much worse concepts.

Hyundai could never do something like this, it isnt derivative.

I sure hope they keep most of it, but i very much doubt it. Real SUV will probably not look anything like this.

haha. the veloster was derivative? the soul? the sonata was radical when introduced. even if you dislike all those, they weren't derivative.
