Here's the first drive review on the blog. Lexus has another hit on its hands:

There are bunch of pics and the links to all the official docs. And here's the link to the preview story, which has some cool pics too!

I'll look forward to reading more reviews.

That was one of my concerns about their decision to base the car on the Rav4 platform and not the GS/IS platform. Let's see what other people say.

Thanks for the post. This is consistent with several other UK reviews on the IS where they knock down the driving dynamics in one form or another and finishing off the article that the BMW equivalent is still best in class. The majority of the rest of the automotive world begs to differ.

For the NX, they state the ride is too firm and is not comfortable as a daily city driver. Majority of the reviews from Whistler stated how comfortable the ride was, feeling like a larger vehicle, even on the F-Sport.

Take this review with a grain of salt.

Default smaller than NX in the works?

I've found autospies to be bias against Lexus in favor of any German vehicle, so this doesn't surprise me. Just scan thru all the negative comments from their readers.

As a side note i stumbled on this article suggesting a smaller suv from Lexus than a NX.

The Grammy-Award winner will be working with the brand to champion provocative design and technology, as part of its Striking Angles campaign to launch the new Lexus NX.

LEXUS Europe today announced a creative partnership with global entrepreneur, innovator and musician, will.i.am.

The Grammy-Award winner will be working with the brand to champion provocative design and technology, as part of its Striking Angles campaign to launch the new Lexus NX.

The announcement initiates the start of a unique collaboration that will encompass the worlds of music, design and technology. As part of the overall campaign, will.i.am is set to design his own limited edition take on the NX, sharply-styled premium mid-size SUV. He will also star in the brand’s latest television commercial, set to be released later this year.

will.i.am said: “Whatever I do I want it to be striking, I want to innovate and revolutionise and my partnership with Lexus on the Striking Angles campaign is no different.

"Inspired by a shared philosophy in design, we've been able to work together on a multi-faceted campaign that will challenge design conventions and fuel people's imaginations."

Lexus Canada has updated its NX page and moved it out of "Future Models".

http://www.lexus.ca/lexus/en/automobiles/nx

Interested to see RC and RC-F are still in "Future Models" and yet their e-brochures are downloadable with confirmed package listing whereas the e-brochure for NX is not available. Very haphazard and must be done by different teams...

We've teamed-up with will.i.am to champion the provocative design and technology of the new Lexus NX.

Stay up-to-date with the campaign by using #StrikingAngles.
