Technical Help (by Mitsuguy and ArmyofOne)
So I have a 2007 IS250 and recently got my water pump replaced at the dealership. Every now and then i would some coolant around the top of the reservoir near the cap area. I would clean it up only to find it again after a few days. My question is this normal and do you guys know what it could be?
Probably just needs a new cap... the tend to wear out and they stay sealed so long as they aren't opened - when they are opened, which it obviously was, the rubber seal deteriorates more...
$10-$15, any auto parts store... not necessary for an OEM part...

Can someone please identify what part this is.

The peice has a cracked in it and also the hose "blue liquid leaking?" This is located at the front left bumber, next to the left fog light. Autobody shop called it a "Transmission Oil Pump"....but i wouldn't know what it really is.
2010 Lexus RX450h, thank you in advance.

Usually has to do with the vacuum solenoid valves... replacement of said valves is the only fix, generally...
