What can I do about clunking noise from my f sport sway bar???

Bigrahizzl 04-28-11 07:28 PM

I have already retightened the bushing

Lexustmo 04-28-11 07:34 PM

Either get a new bushing kit or get an after market from mog and size it down a bit smaller diameter and reinstalled it.

Lexustmo 04-28-11 07:38 PM

if that don't even work. Then DO it my way.

Mark where the oem bushing resting on the sway bar. Then after take the sway bar
off go to get a beat welded around where you mark. When reinstall mark and shave off the parts where the welding beads meet the chasis.

That is like my perminant fix!! lol

Great to have an actual Lexus mechanic on the boards! I'm buddies with one of the mechanics at my dealership (master tech) and he is a WEALTH of knowledge. It's seriously unbelievable.

Hi,

How can I get some things fixed that had a Technical service bulliten put on it like the pattern&shaking of the rearview mirror or the noise filter for the aux. I just purchased my vehcile used and its @68k outta the 4/50k orginal I did purchase a lexus platitum extended warranty. Thanks !

Bigrahizzl 04-28-11 07:49 PM

I see, I guess I can go the bushing route. You know where I can get a better bushing? I tried looking it up on Sewell but I think I found the one for the stock sway bar

What does code33 - Open in air mix damper position sensor circuit. Or, open or short in air mix servomotor circuit. Or, air mix servomotor locked mean? I get medium cool air still on r12. Was going to have freeze 12 put in or maybe convert. But saw this code so know i don't know.

Hi, how do we remove the ugly chrome trim that is on the exterior of our 2nd gen ISx50's?

As being discussed in here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ndow-trim.html
