Default Recent Upgrade in LED lighting.

I recently did some upgrades to my interior and exterior lighting to give the Surfer a freshened look. All interior replacement bulbs are from Vleds.com. Cup holder leds were cannibalized from a pepboys dome light that i purchased but was the wrong size. Running lights are from a company the stereo shop i work for deals with. I forget the name! Opinions, comments, and suggestions are all welcome. Please excuse the poor camera shots. Taken with the Blackberry Storm.

Nice led upgrade. Is that leds running(under) along side of your car or are they that bright coming from the mirror puddle light. 5th pic

Specs on the type of light bulbs used (wattage, size, etc)? I am interested in doing this as well, probably as something to do over winter break. The rear cupholders look so cool!

Also, how easy or hard was it to replace the bulbs? I ask this b/c I was thinking about replacing the fogs with HID 9006 bulbs, but the removal was so complex (for something that should be pretty simple) that I am not going to bother...ever lol

Car guy i will give you the bulb types and specs when i get home but there is a post in the faq section that you can use. I didnt replace the fogs yet and they do seem to be kinda difficult to change. They will be the last ones i change after the small parking lights inside the highbeam housings to leds.


Thanks Team player. They are bright as hell. I love the way the mirrors, bottom lights, and tags all have the same white color with no blue hue to them. It goes with the silver paint so well!

Minz, that is also on my list to change but not that much in a hurry for that one,

nkoppy, yes the plate has been changed also.

I never understood why they were too cheap to install LED's in the 3rd brake from the factory. They put the LED's in the two tail lights. Even Ford's have LED 3rd brake lights.
