I was not notified, even going to the Lexus dealer for regular maintenance, when I discovered the plan was already too late, called Toyota USA and they denied any replacement Is there any way to get it???.
Who are you? You haven't posted in this thread until now, and you're replying to a reply to another posters comment.
Ive been waiting for over a year thinking my name was on the list for melted faded door panels so I went back last month and the clown didn't put my name on the list like he said he did , I heard him say low key he didn't believe my panels were defective .
I rolled in last month and the service guy was like WOW!!! I've never seen it this bad .
I got screwed by a clown that didn't do his job so I guess I missed the deadline and they sent me on my way with a Big Sorry ....What a douche bag at Woodland Hills Lexus
I think I missed the deadlines or fell through the cracks and didn’t gat my door panels replaced. I did, however, get the dash, console, and lower dash replaced. The only part of my door panels that remain sticky is the very top trim piece next to the glass. These parts can be found on EBay but you can’t determine if they are the non-sticky version. It is just the top trim piece removed from the door panel. I'm thinking about removing my panels, removing the top trim section, and taking them to an upholstery shop for recovering. My interior is black and should be easy to match.
I thought ZLZ was closed after 10 years (I have a 2007) but I see posts here that would indicate otherwise. When the door panels are replaced, is it the entire panel or just the sticky piece? I do not see that Lexus sells the panel parts, only the complete panel.

it is a serious problem with these dealerships. It seems they are getting more like other car dealers and only interested in selling you another vehicle. Forget customer service that should be taken care of. The manufacturer is responsible for this also.

This sounds like my experience minus the apology. I don't believe in my local Lexus service department. Every interaciton with the service manager was as if his time wasn't worth it. Even the emails were short and nothing beyond the bare minimum canned responses.
I'm looking to sell my car and I'm embarrased by the interior quality and wear. It's so easy to take a chunk out of this material now. A few days ago I was reaching past my door and my fingernail (I keep them short) got caught on the armrest material and took a slice out. It's not even warm here yet and this material is failing. I know I'm supposed to believe Toyota and Lexus make great cars and Lexus is supposed to have a top-notch dealership experience, but I'm not believing it.

Use a roller so no streaks, easy to tape off trim, seals and it’s color matched to stock.
I also did the Sticky Dash Fix. I'm happy with the results and also used a small roller kit from Home Depot to minimize the streaks. In addition to the $50 kit, I bought additional surface coating. I was chatting with the vendor and he offered my two for the price of one for the additional surface coating and filler. Sugru was really helpful with cracks and divots. The SDF filler was not that useful as it was too much of a liquid for my repair. Attached are some before pictures.
