The car has a "coming home" feature that will allow the lights to stay on for up to 90 seconds. So with the key removed from the vehicle, the doors locked, and having waited at least 90 seconds you're saying the lights are still on?
The headlights will not turn off after the car is shut off. I do not need a dead battery.
The door sensor is going bad on one of your car doors (most likely drivers door). Switch the drivers side sensor with one on a door you don't typically use (passenger rear). Takes about 30 seconds to do. Then your headlights will shut off.
I have also noticed my lights sometimes never turn off. I'm careful to watch them go out before I leave the parking lot or my garage.
Sounds like you have a sticking driver's door switch, which is very common. The good news is the switch is very cheap and very easy to replace. Good luck!

The likely cause of your lights remaining on is a defective doorjamb switch. We've discussed this extensively in our forum.
The defective doorjamb switches are the prime causes of mysterious battery discharges. Testing the switches is very easy and replacement is inexpensive and a DIY project for many. Replacement parts are readily available through Lexus and Toyota dealers.

If you don't want to wait to see if they will go off, you can truncate the delay by hitting the lock button on the wireless electronic key twice. Try it - you'll like it.
