Got it done today, thanks everyone for the instructions and all the help! I was wondering if the other night light and turn signal light can be updated as well? Also, what are the LED that are used for the door light?

Default nike lights ls460 2010

having some trouble swapping out the nike light on 2010 model, it appears that it's not quite the same as the 07-09, there looks like some power brick in the way, there isn't really any wiggle room to move it and I can't get my hand in there to unplug, if anyone can help I'd appreciate it

I know that this is an older thread, but after re-reading it several times, I Really like the look that CJitty and Tee had with the 921's, but wanted to find something in the amber color LED, and relatively bright and came across these. They are made to be installed sideways and thought that they might work. I thought Shibumi said that the light is at an angle, so I thought these would work.

Please tell me what you Guys think.

Hi-Visibility amber VLed's.................

They will work just don't expect them to be super bright in the daytime, far as overcast days, covered parking decks, dawn and dusk they will look fine.

no need to remove the whole bumper.. i couldn't imagine a lexus tech pulling the whole bumper to replace a $2 bulb..lol

hope this helps....( fyi i also swapped my reverse lights for the same bulbs as in the front... looks awesome!!!)
Sorry to bring back this old thread, but I had the grille out and saw the two wire bundles in there, but how do you get the two connectors bent down like that? Is there some type of wrap or piece that I have to bend to get to the Nike light? It would be the step between picture one and picture 2. I see on page one that Shibumi mentions a metal clip or something like that, but I didn't see it.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I thought that it would be easier to ask you Guys that have done it before rather than just start tugging on things and possibly ruining something.

Thanks in advance!

You hold the connectors and push, bending the metal bracket they are attached too to give more clearance. After you do the swap, bend it back

Thanks for the idea guys! I did this a few days ago and wanted to make sure they weren't getting to hot before I shared. Ran during the day and checked twice. Let me tell ya, this was no picnic but well worth it. I did it with a low temp 68 LED chip light that I found on ebay 4x for around $10. They are extremely bright. I used the app Carista on my iphone and my Bluetooth OBD scanner to disable the running lights and many other things for around 20 total. It beats going to the dealer every time you want to change a setting thats for sure! I didn't realize my flash was on so they're brighter in person.
