Default thanks, just did mine to white LED

Just get some new 10mm and 7mm plastic fasteners also to put your engine compartment shields back in like new, cheap on amazon or ebay.

not exactly.. the drl is also the high beam. only dimmed thru pwm (pulse width modulation) but u wire the Nikes as drl's by linking them to the ign circuit (i used fused relays)

last pic was with my old bulbs.. 1st 3are with my new bulbs

I use this, kind of bright but i think it's a bit bluer compares with stock head light. Maybe i have to use 5k for the best match next time if those burn out.

This thread has tons of good information. I can't remember which ones exactly but it was what was discussed in here. Probably the ones that were discussed towards the end are the latest and best ones. GL

Hey, congrats on the purchase!
Yes, as PhatdDad stated, the lights that Kevinls460 used should work fine, especially if you desire to go with the easiest, most straightforward route, without wire splicing, taping and adhesives. A 194 LED would be the way to go.

Good luck!

Be careful of DDM Tuning products. They are reasonably priced, but I bought a set of HID lights from them to use as fogs and when I plugged them in, one didn't work. I tried to get in touch with them to warranty it and had some problems there too. By the time I'd have paid shipping back to them, it wouldn't have been worth the cost. I cut my losses and wrote it off as a learned lesson on my part.

I've found that when buying lighting products, it's better to pay a bit more up front and get a better quality piece (and I'm cheap, so I don't say that lightly ).

The saying Caveat Emptor (Let the buyer beware) comes to my mind when dealing with them. I'd pay a bit more just for something proven just for the fact that it's not a piece of cake to change these bulbs.

They are advertised as being Cree's though and they are good led's, but I just don't have much good to say about DDM Tuning.

By the way, DDM does sell some nice Lexus valve stem caps for a good price and they worked great.

If you buy them, Please let us know how they work out.

Found your post on this today. I had some difficulty with the driversl side (passenger in US and mainland Europe) but your first explanation was excellent. I could have benefitted with GI Joe sized hands however! I put in LED's with a focused forward beam and 10 around the sides, Looks great in the dark, thanks again.
