Did an OBD scan, and got these three codes:

U0073 Control Module Communication Bus off.
U0100 Lost Communication with ECM/PCM/EV.
B2427 CAN Lost Communication.



I think it has something to do with the wiring and connectors, but would really appreciate any advice.

One of common issues is a weak battery.

 

I thought that might be the issue, but I did actually change the battery and the problem is still there unfortunately.

 

I think I’ve found the solution, I changed the mirror switch assembly (as shown in the picture) and the problem disappeared, it’s been three days and the problem never came back!

but there is a slight difference maybe in my issue, when the issue occurred a “check headlight system” message pops in the dash, just a thing to keep in mind.

Seems there are quite a few folks here with this problem. Surprised the dealers haven't come across it(?)
