I read on the brake actuator noise thread you had the 'melting' door panels on your '07. I have the same thing on my '08, which really surprises me, but my car was originally a Toyota corporate car at the California headquarters, so it may have had leftovers, if they knew that car was going to be a corporate machine before it was 100% built.

How did you convince the dealer to properly fix it and is there a place which has the VIN range? Mine, being a 2008, very likely isn't included, but all four door cards are seriously funky when it's warm.

    Thanks!

Thank you for your help. What about the RX 400 and 440 Hybrids wheels and tire? Are interchangeable with the 1999 RX 300. Many Thanks. This is a GREAT forum!!!!!

think I have it wooped..drivers' side visor kept falling down & lexus wanted $500 to replace. problem was that the visor was loose on the shaft where it attached to the ceiling. i poked a hole through the visor close to the shaft and installed a screw, washer and lock nut and tightened it down to 'squeeze' the visor against the shaft. it worked! and because the visor fabric is thick, the screw & washer assy. is recessed into the fabric and does not show that much. i placed the nut on the top side of the visor. wife's happy and hope this helps.
