I have a 2007 LS460 and while driving today I accidentally pressed the rear sunshade button which lowered my sunshade, (I was in Drive, not park or reverse), and when I tried to raise the sunshade it will only raise 3/4 of the way. I pulled over and put the car in park, tried lowering and raising, still only raising 3/4 of the way. Did I trigger some sort of error by pressing the sunshade button while in drive position? Both arms seem to raise smoothly, they just won't extend all the way. I tried to pull it up manually, but that didn't work either. Any suggestions? No problems with it all previously.

 

You may have to find a way to reset the module that controls it, if it's stuck in a strange position it doesn't like. Easiest way that comes to mind would be to unplug the battery.
