I'd prefer if they were only slotted but they go for "the look". These rotors are not actually drilled they are cast that way may seem like pointless semantics but it means less possibility of cracking. I've had a set for a little over 2 years no issues.

Ceika has a front bbk kit but I know nothing about them and wilwood might also.

During the O'biden administration, maybe. But things have drastically changed (and for the better) and I doubt Toyota will be completely abandoning something that has been tried/true and venture off blindly into new territory. If they are moving in this direction, very unlikely it would happen in the immediate future.

Hybrid/EV is all the same to me. "V8 or hybrid" - literally the complete opposite ends of the spectrum. But hey, you do you.

I do agree that this much metal stopped by those puny rotors could be the problem. I also completely agree that an anti seize grease on the axle mating surface would probably be a good idea regardless of it being the cause of the pulsing or not. I live across the street from the bay.
So no Volvo?

My beef is that a disc should be able to take a few of those without immediately warping. Again, I DO drive fast (80-85) on the highway. But on local roads I never go over 35-40.
When you say "immediately warping", are you feeling the pulsations (or more of them) right after a hard stop?

How many miles from the time you replace the pads/rotors (or machine them) before you start feeling the vibrations?

Toyota buyers really like hybrids. It’s not new territory for them at all.

You should drive some. Driving a hybrid and a full EV is totally different, full EVs are incredible to drive, so fast and smooth.

So luck of the draw?
No, it’s called do research first.

Be that as it may, but it doesn't make much business sense for Toyota to go completely non-gasoline. The world is not ready to go all non-gasoline nor is the infrastructure there to support this.

No sir, absolutely not.

I do, and at the risk of restarting the reliability debate, that's where I've come to the conclusion that American/German cars suck.

Hybrids are not non gasoline. Hybrids and EVs are different.

No sir, absolutely not.
Your loss.

I do, and at the risk of restarting the reliability debate, that's where I've come to the conclusion that American/German cars suck.
Again, your loss. Lots of great cars out there to experience if you open your mind up.

Your logic/thought-process is questionable at best.

Not sure how this is a loss. EV's: "limited driving range, longer charging times compared to refueling, higher upfront costs than gas vehicles, and concerns about battery lifespan and subsequent replacement costs". It seems like EV's have a more negative impact than the "good" it does for the environment. I thought the whole point of an EV was to go green? There goes 2 minutes of wasted time on research that I'll never get back.

Essentially, I would be paying more upfront AND for the duration of owning an EV. And then there's the "rapid depreciation" factor.

Yeah, you keep pushing your EV/hybrid agenda buddy.

Again, not sure how this is loss. You're right, lots of great cars out there, but American/German cars are not one of them. You telling me "lots of great cars out there to experience" and that I'm closed-minded is the biggest oxymoron when it's only either V8's or EV's for you. Okay buddy, tell you what, the day you acknowledge American/German cars are garbage is the day that I'll acknowledge they are great.

LOL, have a good day. No agenda here, just sharing my experience and preferences. All things I’ve actually tried

The don't suck at all if you can afford the good ones.....or have enough basic skills to keep them running.
