lovelexus3 , NL5 Can you please show the wires color of this connector and zoom in. if possible from top and bottom.
I need to figure out order of wires and which pin-out for each wire.
Thanks in advanced for help.
Without opening it up, I only have one picture now. I just deleted them all on Monday. I do have a radio adapter coming and if it looks like it fits I will go in this weekend and can get a better shot and/or video.

This picture is posted by me in previous post.
I'm thinking that I may have received wires with different pinout which makes audio mute when plug the connector of the unit.
Took mine out and put the stock unit back in.
I want my backup camera back!
If anyone wants this Android unit - PM me, ill sell it at cost+shipping. Nothing has been cut or altered on it, comes with a separate camera.
You didnt want to run a new camera line to it? I did (granted I did not have an OEM) but am very happy with it. Very easy and very clear. Maybe a moot point, but can post pictures if you would like.
Sorry about sending your picture, been preoccupied with the coolant leak/fan situation on my car.
I want to thank you 'pioneers' from keeping me from making a mistake. I'll pass on this implementation.
Instead I'll go with the Vaistech. My stock screen works fine for what it is. The vaistech will give me Bluetooth media.
And get rid of I agree. I do have my phone nicely set up and since it's big it's really all the Android I need in the car. I did a temp tablet install
as well. Have not really used it. It's the Vaistech for me. AM going to something similar in 4runner tho.

yeah, if you could post pics of your camera and how exactly you hooked it up that'd be great
i just didn't feel like tearing the car apart, again, to run a wire, and having to mount an extra camera in the back that would not look stock, having to tap into the reverse lights harness and all that jazz...
I haven't sold it yet...

Here is a very choppy video I have to show a basic format of how I ran the wire. Passenger side, in between rear seat and through trunk. When I get back in town and handle the radiator install I can send more. You can see where I show the camera on here. It looks factory compared to my rx (in my opinion)

i see, you have bought a camera yourself. they threw in a camera with my unit that looks like this:
That's why i didn't want to install it... and from what others have posted the picture was crappy on it anyways
Yes, they included that one for me...I saw it and did not want to take a chance. I researched over 100 cameras and found the one I showed you to be the best one with overall clarity. It also includes everything.

Sorry for the delay. There is a bit of wiring connecting
This is what comes with the package. The yellow Male rca plugs into the rca on the harness. There is a wire that comes from the yellow Male rca that connects to the back wire on the harness.
Run the wire (I did mine on the passenger side) Ran the cord through the rear seat and then pulled down the rear armrest and removed the frame. Enlarged the hole slightly and ran through the carpeting in trunk. With the wire clamps clamped to reverse lights taped and was done. Very easy. More time is spent taking panels off and on and running wire.
End result of camera. The camera has a setting of the distance bars and the unit has one. Figure it wouldnt hurt to have both.
What tools do you use to remove temperature control unit during navigation removal?
If you scroll up, I used the panel remover for the heated seats panel. From there three screws to remove cover for cd changer. Two (10mm I think) bolts that hold cd changer/radio. Then four screws (be careful) behind the temperature adjustment controls (on each side of unit).
