Thank you for the reply hopefully I'll have some time this Sunday to install the unit keep you guys posted
I'm really surprised there isn't more interest or demand for this unit maybe it's a bit too early /maybe people don't know that this is out =that a replacement head unit for our cars is available there's so many posts of how terrible the Grom V line is
Personally, I have LOVED my VL1. Outside of the first few months, when it really felt like a beta test (only paid $299 presale, though), it has performed in every way I have needed.
Now that CarPlay has more nav options, I don't use any of the base VLINE functions unless I'm showing it off. I think they added Android Auto, as well, not 100% sure tho.
I know the Vline gets a bad rap, but that's bc the only people really posting are the ones having problems. Outside of few quirks, it integrates very well with our cars. At this point, if I had to buy a new one for any reason, I would pay full price in a heartbeat.
Hey guys... so i swapped in the new unit... not getting any power... seems odd... so booked in with fitter in the morning so he can test with power meter and get it sorted.... looks so clean and worth the agro getting it going.

Are you referring to the Android screen? If so, what year is your ls?
Because you didnt had the touch screen originally over there on the top I can imagine that the wiring isnt configurated to your specific model. I think this will be very difficult to make that work.
looks like i cant have 2 units at same time... i want new top unit... so im going to take out old bottom one.... but leave it in to fill hole... then need to connect new unit to cables that are on original loop ?... i got power to unit... at the moment cant get audio to work ?... thanks

Hi all
my English is not fluent so sorry if any mistakes
I want to share my experience with this screen
I bought this android screen from the same seller and after few days I install my original navi screen again
My car is 2002 lexus LS430
These are the cons :
1. In direct sunlight on dashboard you cannot see any thing in screen even the brightness is full.
2. Car original radio FM AM and cassette not working.
3. CD changer is working in background and mixing with media files of screen.
4. Climate can control from screen only if you cut some wires.
5. Bluetooth worked only once then stopped working..don't know why?!
6. Making annoying beeps in starting up.
7. Little bit slow if you install a lot of apps.
I contacted with the seller, she said this is 1st time she heard about these problems. I know she's lying.
The good thing of this android screen is you can add rear view camera for models 2001 to 2003 and sound become better than original units.
So guys don't waste your money on this android screen
Hey guys so finally found the time to install the unit
it's been sitting at my house for about a week
it's 90° here in Philadelphia just been disgustingly humid but anyway I figured I had to do it while I have time
everything went smooth here are some pictures
I have a 2005 LS430 everything was Plug and Play
only problem is I'm getting no sound whatsoever
when I hit the CD player or the AM FM buttons no sound...
it shows that the disc is being read but no sound
Hey guys so after tinkering for a while I was able to get sound to play through the internet and YouTube but I still can see the Factory CD changer read the disc but no sound comes out where you guys able to make sound come out from the factory CD changer or the factory FM tuner?
Also in my model are GPS antenna is right there where the new unit goes right behind the Old Navy screen would you have to do is buy an adapter and you don't even have to install the GPS antenna that came with this Android unit I don't know if anyone has mentioned it here's a picture
The OEM navigation GPS antenna sits right underneath the middle of the dashboard right behind the Android unit
In this picture it is the factory GPS antenna plug which will have to go to the Android literally couple inches I'm looking for an appropriate adapter now we'll post an update
top work there buddy.... if anyone has a link to whats needed.... im also stuck with no volume... ill load a video link in a min to see if help or advise is available... many thanks
2004-2006 Ls430 oem gps antenna located dead center inside dash /right behind oem screen... Disconnect plug to the right 2004-2006 Ls430 oem gps antenna plug antenna plug= square male
Thank you....
And here is another picture of our Factory OEM antenna location and the connector
I will have some time today to find the appropriate adapter that we need / will fit between the oem antenna, that's already sitting where it needs to be/ under the dash and the new Android unit
we need female Square on one end ( plugs into the factory GPS antenna) and a male round on the other end (plugs nto the Android unit)

the RCA wires have to be connected in order to get sound from stock radio/CD changer to the Android unit
