The logistics would be challenging. Nothing is going to be a straight swap. Bride doesn't even make rails for the Celsior/LS430, so you could have to have them custom made if you wanted an aftermarket seat like a Recaro or Bride.
I love the seats in my LS. Though, one that I drove had terrible seats. From what I can tell, the vehicle spent its whole life outside in the Texas sun without tint on the windows so the leather was pretty trashed and it felt like the foam was breaking down internally because the seats were not supportive at all. It was so bad, even my wife commented on how bad they felt.
man. my seat kinda sucks but the car is an 02 and 160k on the clock. Ultimately I'll probably add some new foam the seat bottom to fix that, but I've also had fantasies of matched leather Recaros in the front
Since nobody sits in my pass seat, wonder how realistic it would be to swap cushions....I rode in my car again today as a pass. and the pass seat is really nice. I'm beginning to think it's not simply the cushion, but the seatback as well that's worn out on the driver's side...
I use a seat pad cushion that I bought from Walmart works great it just looks tacky. I tried having the seat redone but it's still not enought support.

Interesting, I rode in my car as a passenger yesterday again (wife driving around), and can't help but thinking man this is how the vehicle seat was designed (feels extremely good), even the seatback has support. Then it dawned on me, even the seatback feels weak on the driver's side, and sure enough, the material is also loose on the driver's side seatback. I've concluded that most likely a cushion replacement alone won't do it, so now we're probably talking big bucks. Also, it dawned on me the pass side has power seat controls that face the driver, so dunno. I tried a cushion that I got from Costco, and I can't believe the clerk was questioning me why I am returning it, when the lady in front of me was returning an opened half-eaten bag of vegetable chips? Go figure....
If I ever get around to it I may try replacing some of the foam with latex. Problem with most upholstery foam used in cars and furniture breaks down, and sometimes breaks down rather quickly. I've been contemplating replacing some of the foam in my couch with latex foam. More bounce than memory foam and doesn't break down like most normal foams used in couch cushions, beds, etc. Latex tends to break in a bit but then keeps it shape and density for decades instead of a year or two. I'd have to try to figure out how "dense" or firm of a foam I'd want then try to source it. It would interesting to do something similar in a vehicle seat. Use a foam that would have a better feel to it as well as keep its density and firmness for years and years. But yeah the foam in my seat is just kinda flattened out, so the leather looks loose and its not particularly supportive
