I have used Mobil 1 SYN and extended filters since 96 and change ONCE each year. However, if I exceed 20,000 miles I will change it then. Great to see the look on the tech's faces when they hear this I have 183k miles and it is perfect mechanically. However with std oil maybe 3000 - 5000k n=miles.

Air filters every 4 to 6 months or as needed.

Good point to use the manual specs - you being a mechanic has got to come in handy

About every 7-8K miles the oil.
15K miles, coolant and thermostat and check air filter.
2 qt drain of the tranny fluid every other oil change.
Tire air pressure every 2 weeks.

Basically, put gas in it and drive.
