Default Added scrape protection

I added the Sliplo kit today to the front bumper since I am going to be lowering the car in 2 weeks.

I also noticed one of the underbody support braces was scraped and bent way out of shape from a couple days ago when I bottomed out on a speed bump so I replaced that as well (Part #57261-11010). My right side exhaust in front of the secondary cats is also scraped up, but thankfully nothing major other than the metal being scratched. I don't really ever and will never again go the way I went that day, trying to save a couple minutes on the way home from work.

view from front after putting on Sliplo. if you don't know it's installed you would never know that it was

^thats why i didnt bother putting on a bodykit. I scrape sometimes on bumps already and its stock. I'm not sure how you guys are doing with the front splitters and having the car lowered.

Other than that speed bump I have not scraped anywhere (and that was a bottom out directly over the speed bump, middle of the car rather than a front end scrape). My GS was lower than my LC (as I did scrape a bit with that car) and had a front splitter which was replaced several times (ebay special).

As much as I want the Toms lip, I won't be putting one on the LC for exactly that reason. I can't stomach scraping and ruining a 2k part.

Not all of it but a decent amount. I kept the katanas and the window trim, and the diffuser pin striping

Same here, in hibernation. Cover, CTEK on and most insurance dropped until a sunny day comes. Sadder than looking at the Pool cover (although the pools covered longer).

Mine does have the winter wheel set on(AS4 tires) so if I need to take it out and it’s sunny and dry, I’ll take it out.
However, the town is really eager to use up their winter roads treatment budget that a little bit of flakes or wet cold weather, the salt trucks are out in force. in recent years, they started to spray brine water(concentrated salt water) on the road hours before any snow flakes arrive.
I have no real need to use the LC other than to just use it so it can stay plugged into the trickle charger.

This is the first year I’ve had the LC. Here they also use the brine solution prior to questionable weather. No winter wheels on mine but IF we hit a dry spell and sunny weather, I will pop the insurance back on and drive (what I did with the IS250C). Temps are no concern for me, although the top may not be down in the low 40’s.

Yep, it’s going to be a long Winter.

Here's the current look. I think it's much cleaner than what I had before while still giving me the orange pop I want

I think you're the first person I've seen who has actually sourced one of these! Nice work!

Any insight on how it can be replicated? A parts list would be amazing if you have one

Nice job making an already reliable dream car even more reliable

Met up with a fellow Lexus enthusiast today, he has a wide body RCF.

The blue and orange was popping off today 😅

I've asked a number of times for the parts list with no response. Even sent a private message that was not answered

Lexus must be listening; wish I could remember the exact verbiage but on the last Lexus Advisory Board Survey they had a section about what additions you would prioritize. It specifically was asking about Transmission temperature indication (I'm assuming for the LC500 because it asked if I was still the owner). Can't imagine they would add a temp indication without the cooler installation.
