Sometimes lazy car burglars will target cars that don’t have mirrors folded in. Not real thieves, but the guys that rummage through an unlocked car for anything that they can grab. (Phone chargers, change in the glovebox, whatever.) In this case, they won’t get in, but I don’t find these people to be particularly gentle or caring about the surrounding paint when they grab the door handle, while carrying a bag to abscond wifh their spoils, and try to get in and out, quickly. I don’t like the way folded mirrors look, either, but if it stops some punk from scratching up my door because he was too lazy to learn how to properly break into a car and steal it, I’m ok with it. People walking in between cars also don’t need a larger attack vector than necessary, particularly ladies carrying purses. I’ve had mirrors scratched.

First Sam's Club trip in the books, some last minute back to school shopping. Had to limit myself for fear of how much I could fit in here lol

Hah yep, my 4yo (these are her night time diapers) is just barely tall enough now for a high back booster, so that's what made me pull the trigger. I couldn't make it work with a forward facing 5 point harness carseat comfortably at all, but we're all good now! She sits behind me and gives me a nice back massage while I drive, but thankfully she has abided by the "no shoes" policy so far.
My older one is almost 8 and the rear seats are actually so deep that she just sits cross-legged on the seat and is comfortable.

While my daughter isn't in diapers anymore, she is 5 now so you have good company! Definitely goes against the grain of buying an SUV with a family.

Parked in her spot for the evening last night, but performing some surgery today in order to paint the calipers and clean+coat the wheels.

For anyone wondering I was able to use a 2.5" low profile floor jack to get to both under body jack points. Did the rear first and then the front.

I considered white after seeing yours, white would have allowed me to mask off and keep the painted on Lexus logo that came from factory, but I think with the black wheels the black decal was the right choice

Skyline Drive. Unfortunately my shift **** is a bit loose. It now rotates with a small amount of pressure. Only 2000 miles on the clock :-/

Gorgeous. This loose shift **** seems to be a recurring problem on 24s? You are the 3rd or 4th to report this early on in ownership
