Got those (exposed) metal pieces that attached to the lower valance, out of the picture. Thought I could live with them, then just wanted to paint them black. I was able to carefully bend them upwards and out of view, (so valance could still attach).
Also added a gloss black "LC500" badge. ($20 from eBay)

Is that badge adhesive? How do badges come off? Read something about using fishing line.

Never had the OEM badge re-installed after the new bumper so I had a clean slate, to work with. But yeah, you can hit the badge with a heat gun/hair dryer then run fishing line underneath the badge. The badge is self adhesive, yes.

Are the letters/numbers "connected" or do you space each individually? Asking because I already ordered it, lol.

The letters are held in place/spacing with a clear film that's laid over the top of the letters, slightly sticking to them. So you peel off the backing of the letters to expose the adhesive, then stick the letters to your bumper...the clear film over the top of the letters is what helps to keep the spacing correct.
In my case the letters were spaced good but were offline up/down from one another. It wasn't a big deal as I just laid them right on the tape edge that I laid down to locate everything. So yes, they're connected...lol
I didn't have the original letters. A new bumper was installed/painted. I was supposed to take the car back after a few weeks, (paint cured), to have the letters installed by the body shop. I ordered the chrome black "LC500" as I thought it would be a good look, then installed it myself. Really just eyeballed and guessed the location and went for it.

Here is a video, (5 or 6 seconds into the vid), of how a jig is used at the plant to install the badge. It's for a Jetta but I would imagine the same process for the LC. You can also see the clear film that holds the letters in place.
I tried the $10 pipe cutters from Harbor Freight but it started to thread the pipe, so not recommended by me. (borrowed an expensive pair from a guy down the Pub, well worth the Beers).
I, too, cannot recommend the Harbor Freight pipe cutters. They do not track straight and start to "thread" the pipe.
Is cutting 4 slits and clamping each tip worth the effort? Will a couple drops of high-temp muffler sealant not secure the tips?
Finally got the Tips installed (Thanks to Timado).
I did find these black clamps instead of the suggested option... Blk Clamps

Thanks again Timado for leading the way.
Looking good, my friend! 👍🏾
Great job, glad I could help...

It's a fact that not a pipe cutters are equal. A really high quality tool will make easy work of this job.
Yes, a very small dab of hi-temp RTV or the sealant I mentioned in earlier post will definitely hold the tips in place. Here's another cost effective option.
