Default Check Headlight System

2012 ISF Lowered on Swift springs and this pop-up after install. A local shop did the install for me and they have no clue on how to fix it. First, I know this is not an AFS light because 2011+ deleted AFS. It only has auto-leveling. I read many threads on older IS with AFS, and it doesn't seem like it really applies here. I already readjust the rear sensor on the sway bar link downwards to compensate for the lowered ride height. Before adjusting the sensor, the headlight was aim lowered than usual. Now it seems to be leveled. Headlights and fog lights are working except the self-leveling. It doesn't move up and down during startup. But the light is still on. Anyone with an 11+ found a solution to this?

Here are the threads I read already.

Are the headlights completely operational?

Did you adjust the front driver side sensor also? There are only 2 of these and they are both on the driver side.

No, was not aware it was adjustable. I read that only the rear needed adjustment.

It might have been reinstalled improperly. Look at this thread too (post #4 in particular):

TY! This pic really helped! The arm on the rear was installed wrong. Exactly like this! Moved it up and now the error is fixed!

I was just going to post that the arm had fallen, either in the front or the rear. Good job.

Is that rear piece suppose to be all loose in the middle and near the sensor? Mine gave me the check headlight after suspension which meant it was wrong orientation according to previous posts here. It was oriented like the picture v when it should be ^. I removed the left most nut in the picture and then I flipped it and it appears to be the only bolt that is tight. The middle knuckle and behind the sensor are all wobbly loosey goosey...

The arm on the sensor should be tight. The center joint is a ball joint and should have flex in it. Sounds like your sensor might be damaged.

Hopefully it’s not damaged. The pivot point does have a wobble flex but the bolt behind the sensor I couldn’t get any tighter and has slight play.
i did orient the arm back up and my check headlight is gone.
Though I didn’t tighten the bolt as high as yours on the [] slider bracket. Yours is towards the upper 1/4 mine is towards the lower 1/4 slightly below the half.

Mine has remained at factory level after lowering / raising / lowering the F several times in 12 years of ownership..

Most don't realize the only bolt & nut to remove or touch is the lower bracket one that goes through endlink and arm.

Thanks for validating the fitment.
I’ll leave mine alone for now since it appears to have removed the warning
