Hey guys,

Some guys and me are looking for a new mod for opening automatic trunk when we press the remote control trunk opening button. Do you know a way to make it ?
Like for the IS gen2:
I think we need to replace with new shock absorbers with more force.

 

The 3IS uses torsion springs rather than the 2IS struts.
To make this work on the 3IS you'd first need to make all 4 mounting point for the struts (2 per side) and then find struts that will work.
Ideally you'd find the struts first then determine the mounting points from there.

As noted in the video, the side he put the new strut one had the gap between the trunk and fender get larger.
There is two possibilities for this...the strut is too strong and is pushing too much on the trunk when it is closed...or...the strut is just a little too long and not compressing short enough when the trunk is closed.

 

Ok Sasnuke I get it. I will see that later I'm busy this days. But can we use a new torsion spring with more power or duplicated each torsion spring?!
