Default Auto folding mirrors

Hello. On my Lexus IS 2015 I have folding mirrors, but I'm missing the auto folding button. Is the function of my power switch already located? Or is it so simple that I can buy a new master power window switch, which has this button, and then auto fold will work? Or is there something else I need to do?

I want to know this too - is this an extra feature that I didn't get?

Apparently in the US market, the IS never got auto folding nor auto tilt when reversing. That’s what I was told and I def don’t have either of those features.

I'm from Norway, so I have the European edition. There you got the folding mirrors. But on my car I lack the auto function, which makes them fold when I lock the car.

I’m 99% sure it’s extremely hard and expensive. Our mirrors don’t have the wiring I don’t think nor the motors for that. Someone can correct me as I’m just guessing, but you would have to add the motors and all the wiring and get the button panel that has those buttons.

Another user did this but here is a quote from his thread...

TLDR: I don't think it was worth the time or money to complete this project.

Anyone know? When you have manual folding mirrors from factory. How hard is it to get "autotilt" when the car locks? Do I need a new window control panel? who has this feature?

I see. But I have power folding mirrors on my car from factory. So I have mirrors with engine ++. But I'm missing the "memory" folding button on my window control panel. This one I wonder if I can get?

I think some people are confused about your question including me. If I understand you correctly you have power folding mirror shown in arrow, which does fold the mirrors when you press the button. You just want those mirror to fold automatically when you lock/unlock the car?

Consider yourself lucky because all of us in U.S don’t even have this button that folds the mirrors with motor. We have to step out of the car by pushing with hand.

Lol yup. Here in Germany when I park on the streets sometimes I have to manually fold my mirror in and then out lol.
