Default Lexus app suite issues

I'm experiencing issues with app suite in my 2016 is3. When I launch Pandora app, it no longer prompts "say the name of an atist or song to create a station. In addition, while in the app, Voice command is non responsive when I push the button on the steering wheel. Any advice? Im at the dealer now and they disconnected battery, downloaded a usb update and still no luck.. Thanks..

If using an iPhone be sure you are updated to iOS 11.3.1
Delete LAS from the phone and reload and sign in.

You likely already know this but you must have Pandora/iHeart apps OFF to allow
LAS to control. If App is open then the phoneis controlling.
Still your Data Plan, phones got to be charged/on/BT connected to work

If it fails to reconnect after a phone call while driving,
you can hold the radio On/Off button down to reboot the Nav

Optional but if those steps don't connect you then should
try delete and repair the phone to the Lexus.

Once my App Suite no longer worked with my car. I tried everything including removing the app from the phone and car and re-installation. The dealer tried other phones and they all worked so I had to nuke my phone and start form a fresh install of iOS11. This means not restoring from a prior backup! But in the end, that drastic last step worked and i have a fully functioning app suite. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I tried all of your suggestions including a factory reset and no luck. I have an LG V20 Android and it worked with app suite on day one with no issues. App suite has been acting up for 2 months now. When I press the voice command button, while in an app, it shows "please wait" on the screen with no audible voice. It use to say "say the name of an artist or song to create a station." I'm at a loss and so is the dealer.. This is a new car too. Damn.

Another radical step would be to "Delete Personal Data" from the car through
the Menu/Settings/General page. This is usually reserved for trading in the car
and deletes everything including the App Suite in the car. Everything includes
phone pairings, call logs, destinations and histories, everything. As dashocker
has a new car this should not be traumatic. Now when you repair everything
you will initially be greeted with App Suite asking to be downloaded through
your phone. This will be 5-7 minutes of your life you will never get back...
Encouraged by your observation that it worked "on day one" perhaps this will
get you back to that happy place.

Dude. Your suggestion absolutely worked! The enform system is working flawlessly now! I wasted my time going to the dealer instead of logging on to clublexus. You guys are the best!

Fortunately (or unfortunately?) I am a Dealer, a Lexus Master Certified Technology Specialist.
It is often easier for both of us, guest and tech to meet on-line than arrange for an in-person visit.

Anyone just receive a notice for a mandatory app update? I have a 17 RX450h and this morning I was prompted to download an update. Tried several times and each time I
just get "Download Failure". Anyone have this problem before? I have an iPhone 6S w/IOS 11.3.1. Strong signal.

Would connecting the phone up via USB make any difference?

I just got the update. I didn't have any issues. Running Android over Bluetooth, Samsung Galaxy J3.

I got the mandatory update for my '16 GS350 this morning as well. No idea what it was for. I use a Android phone. But prior to this (and I've had the car for only 2 months now), I've had problems with enform (Slacker and Pandora) linking with my phone, or saying "service unavailable" or something like that. Usually rebooting the phone, rep-starting the enform app and/or restarting the car's enfotainment (hold down on the power button for 5 seconds) usually did the trick. I'll be watching to see if this fixed it!

One other issue I've had, is with Slacker. At times I am unable to scroll through my list of stations that I set up. The scroll bar shows up, but I can't get to it.

While on the subject of scrolling, I wish we could use the up/down arrows for scrolling through things, instead of just zooming in/out on the maps. Big lost opportunity there!

Don't even get me started on the phone app Bruce. The Enform app on my iPhone constantly logs me out even though this "new" version is supposed to fix that. Of course,
I don't know that until I'm well on my way and try to get to iHeartRadio and get an error. ARGH!. Why can't this be simple and straight forward? The hoops I had to go through just
to get iHeart to work was ridiculous. It was such a pain, I didn't even try getting Slacker or Pandora to work. Now I have to deal with an update that doesn't work. And if I don't select
"forget" when it asks me for the update, I don't have access to the apps until I stop and restart the car. When you mention restarting the car's infotainment and refer to the power button,
do you mean the volume ****? Reason I ask is that on the RX450h, the power **** is also the volume ****.

Pandora's pretty easy, you just have to make sure you're signed in as it will auto-logout once in a while. I haven't messed with Slacker or iHeartRadio. Pandora doesn't seem to like it when I have Wi-Fi turned on and am still near the house or the office (basically near a familiar Wi-FI network). Otherwise it works fine.
